RPGM - Completed - The Hero and the Love Barrier [v2.05] [kikihatonosu]

Pretty simple story that takes 20-30 minutes to get through, but you need to play it again for the true ending, which...sure whatever, pretty short especially if you skip dialogue which makes up most of it. Art is meh and didnt have much detail, any scene including females and MC is mc as a 'ghost' in a sense.

I didnt mind the style, but scenes were definitely lacking. Story was...very very basic, but the dialogue seemed interesting at times where characters actually got serious. I had nothing better to do so it was mildly interesting. For a dude thats hopelessly in love with this girl though, he is very easily distracted by other women and absolutely melts under seduction, which is strange for someone who is supposedly very strong in willpower. He practically turns into a puddle to the extent that choosing to refuse to end it actually seems out of character

some minor dialogue i found really interesting such as him talking to the other woman about mill, the demon king giving him a pitying look as it died, and certain parts of the dream sequence. and of course, the occasional dialogue about her pretending to care about him all that time. it just seems oddly good but out of place

At the time of this review it's $2 on DLsite, a good price for a linear scene collector like this. The story is well presented and the seduction by the succubus is varied and interesting.

I liked the story and the true end twist. The game knows it's an H-game, gives you the material and scenarios to get off and tops it off with a nice plot together with the PLOT.

Recommended for the low low prices of "450mb and free off F95"

Translation 3-4/5 - Translation seems fine for the most of part, but i didn't really try to find any mistakes intentionally

Story 1/5 - Honestly... Story is nonsense, same for hero which can't do a shit to resist pathetic charms like these. This hgame tries to explain everything in TRUE ENDING, which happens only after beating normal one. Even then, story feels like a big letdown, after reading normal part.

Gameplay 1/5 - It's simply scene collector where you avoid something and etc with plenty of bugs. After certain dialogues, your character sprite might simply disappear, which happened to me 3 times. All you do in this hgame is simply read tons of meh text and pick choices to avoid game end.

Hscenes 1/5 - Honestly... Art is bad. I don't even talk about low amount of CGs, due to game taking only 400mb of space.

Conclusion 1-1.5/5 - It's really bad hgame which doesn't really worth your time. If you want hgame with some and gameplay, there was which got translation recently.
