Ren'Py - The Hive [v1.7] [Pieceofsoap]

The game is great, especially if you like the main fetish. It has great visuals, plot, mystery, dialogue, and characters, etc. The gameplay in general makes you want to continue and progress carefully through the game.

The only problem is that if you're not a hardcore fan of the diaper/infantilization fetishes, there's not much erotic content. I'm going to look at what the game has to offer in the future, as it's really well made. But, because I don't care too much about the fetishes themselves and am only interested in them as part of a larger content, which is currently lacking, I'm unsure about it.

Without additional sexual content, there's not much to see for a regular player who's not interested in generally good games but is actually here to see some explicit content.

I would definitely love the game if there were other things, like vibrators in diapers, huge dildos on riding horses, spanking, orgasm denial, deliberate sexual humiliation, etc. Right now, the game is barely erotic and not fun beyond "interesting, well done, and promising."

genuinely fun and has a great idea behind it, can't wait for more updates, love the branching paths that can be taken with it, you're given some freedom to kinda see how you want to go about navigating the life you're given, imo worth a try if you're into that kinda stuff, if not, why are you checking the page then lol

I'm not usually into diaper games at all, and I didn't realise this was one. So what usually happens is that I turn them off immediately and delete them. The art and the writing in the opening scene were pretty convincing though, and also tapped into other kinks that do work for me: mental/age regression, brainwashing, globalised kink... So I decided to stick around for a bit to see what's up. What ended up happening is that despite not being the target audience for this game, I actually had a good time. The art and writing are really competent, as is the technical execution of the game (no bugs or ugly menus). The amount of actual sexual content is somewhat underwhelming given the vast amount of opportunities for sexual hijinks, but it sticks to the setup for the lore and actually ends up creating really strong sexual tension. I'm disappointed there won't ever be penises in this game (per the dev) but I agree it would be out of place.

For me, personally, as a non-ABDL fan, it's more like a 3.5/5 in terms of pure enjoyment. But I have to acknowledge that it managed to get me to engage with this stuff without grossing me out too much and that it had a wealth of other kinks that did get a rise out of me, and that's an extraordinary accomplishment.

tl;dr: Worth checking out if you have ABDL-adjecent kinks, even if diapers are not your thing or even disgust you a bit. However, if you need your sexual content to be out in the open instead of as tension-building subtext, you're better sitting off this one out.

This game is just in early development, but already looks promising. Hoping that more artwork is updated since a lot of CGs are still just sketches.

Warning that if you are not into the fetish you may no get much of it.
