The characters (and the banter between them) in this game are very endearing. I didn't expect to care so much after just a short demo.
Also, the world-building is quite good. I find myself wanting to know more of the lore as we go. Several aspects caught me off-guard when they were revealed, and that's pretty cool to see in a game.
