So, there’s a lot to say about this game, so I’m afraid I’m going to ramble a bit. The irrationally tragic rape of the elf Marie (what a long title!) is an old rpg (released in 2014) of OneOne1, a company from which we now know well what to expect. I want to emphasize the age of the game because it will be felt, especially in the menus and customization possibilities, but otherwise it is quite enjoyable even now, since the gameplay is the classic rpgmaker experience, with the complete package of 2d isometric map, turn-based combat, etc., which is still around today.
The gameplay has nothing interesting to report, except that the fights are quite though, but the number of enemies per floor of a dungeon is always well calculated, so as to level our heroine at the end of each floor, so you never risk the under-leveling. Each enemy is weak to a certain magic element (or, alternatively, to physical attacks), so it will be enough to discover the Achilles heel of each mob to facilitate the experience.
A fun detail is that, if Marie is naked in battle, then she becomes faster and does more damage, while if she is wearing armor, she is slower but has greater defense.
The art is made by Taro, one of the veteran designers of OneOne1 and I do not mind his artstyle; the erotic scenes are quite varied and numerous, even if the logic behind them is always the same: they are either short sequences of harassment, or are the beginning, and then the end, of a long rape, often mass, against Marie by humans or monsters indifferently, with her initially frightened and riotous and then, in the end, completely lost in pleasure.
The translation is bad, clearly done by machine, but still understandable for those who want to discover the game story, which is what I really want to dwell on, because it really hit me (in negative).
    Spoilers ahead:
The country where the adventure takes place was once dominated by elves who one day, a long time ago, went to war against humans who, despite the magical strength of the elves, managed to defeat them: since then, every elf has been enslaved and forced to obey the orders of every human, with the absolute prohibition to rebel or harm them. We are thus in the present of history, in a world dominated by humans, where the elves (strangely all females) are subject to all kinds of harassment and violence, especially sexual, and are exploited, given their strength, as adventurers to fight monsters, without receiving anything in return. Racism will be an integral part of the story and therefore, if you are sensitive to this theme, better avoid this game, because it will be so heavy: Marie will be insulted, hated and victimized always and everywhere, regardless of the good she tries to do. But even in this dark world there is a light: the egalitarian movement, which is fighting for the violence against the elves to stop. And it is precisely in an egalitarian family that Marie finds her reason for living, what makes her resist all this horror: a child who loves her and treats her like a friend. But one day the child falls victim to a mysterious disease that appears to be incurable: the only possibility would be to find three magical artifacts, spheres scattered throughout the continent, able, if gathered, to make a wish come true. And so Marie decides to leave, in an extremely dangerous and hostile world, to save her only friend, only with the support of the egalitarians, who see in this act of altruism a possible flag for their cause.
The story goes on until she arrives at the capital, with Marie trying to do good while trying to get the artifacts, only getting hate and violence in return, but developing an unexpected power. The elf turns out, in fact, to be a kind of magical vampire/ succubus, whose power increases while absorbing the life energy of people, a legendary creature of extreme power that could change the world.
Once in the capital, however, the story undergoes a sudden change (as often happens in Japanese works) and becomes extremely over-complex and convoluted.
I will not elaborate on the ending and leave it to you to find out for yourself how it goes, but I will just note one emotion: one of the scenes that takes place in the capital is so cruel to Marie that it made the pit of my stomach close, so much as I perceived it as unfairly cruel to her. Perhaps it is me being overly empathetic, but it really struck me.
A real shame that there is only one ending and is not influenced by any choice made.
To conclude, Elf Marie is a quite unique experience, not so much for the erotic side, in line with the other OneOne1 games, or for the gameplay, but for the emotions it aroused in me (mostly anger, and confusion towards the end) and the story it tells, cruel to the point of absurdity towards its protagonist, who does nothing to deserve what happens to her. I don't know if I feel like recommending this game, but I really think I'll carry it in me for a while longer. Three and a half stars, maybe those who like dark stories might enjoy it.

This the most immersive oneone1 game I've played. I almost passed this due to the user rating. The village bycicle thing that they like to do is actually fitting in this one. You play as an elf, who are conquered and considered subhuman. You should play it for yourself if that sounds appealing. The pregnancy is not really a feature, but does happen often as a CG. The translation is also done well.

The combat is challenging, and a bit tedious, which forces you to cheese it, the H-scenes are weird because, you get defeated when you actually win the boss battles, the story is really dumb, you go on a quest to gather 4 amulets to gain magical power to heal a child, in this world you are a female elf and elves everywhere face mind breaking discrimination, you get allied with a elf rights protection group, or something, their leader seems legit, until the end where he takes the magic power for himself and transforms into the toughest boss battle in the game, after you beat him his supporters come to the temple, and they see that you killed him, blaming you, even though he literally killed 2 of his own men before attacking you, and they seriously claim you murdered a human, this is garbage writing at its finest, then after you get humiliated at the castle, you see the child you were supposed to heal has recovered, and he now actively hates you, just like all elves, the main character goes into despair, mixed with lust from public orgies, then she gets transferred to a slave island and gets horrendously abused , obviously, then suddenly a volcano erupts and the guards decide to release you from slavery, and now you go to the volcano and fight the boss that triggered this aproaching catastrophe, much easier than the previous boss lmfao, and after all of this, the game just ends.

The 2 stars I give are for the H-scenes, and the boss battle music, skip this game and play other similar and much much better ones instead, with better gameplay and better story and better porn.

Oh yeah, also, glitchy resolution settings forcing you to play in a 640x480 resolution, windowed.

Also, the map design doesn't let you reach bosses after returning to a city, you gotta navigate through the whole mess of a labyrinth level again to reach the boss.

Also, gallery not unlcoked at the end. Absurd.

Also, the game has the BALLS to invite you for new game + with all of your items, levels and so on carrying over. No one is going to play this grind with this terrible story again.

I beat the game. It's the worst game I played by Oneone. I'm not saying it's not worth playing; however, it only has one ending, and it made the whole story not worth playing up to that point. The fmc gets treated so badly that it made me want to drop the game at multiple points throughout the story. And for the guys who made a review after playing through about 30mins or so. You made a good decision, this game is for hard-core maniacs who love seeing racism at its finest. At one point in the story you find out that Elves are being treated so harshly for absolutely no reason other than Existing. I kept playing the game to hopefully find at least 1 human who would treat the fmc with a modicum of decency, but it wasn't meant to be. All the humans are assholes in this game. The H-scenes are high quality as expected from this circle, but you would think this would be something they made back when the first started making these games. The story isn't worth playing the game for, you would only be playing this game for the porn. EDIT: I checked the release date, and it made sense to me all of a sudden.

Like the review right below this one I didn't get that far, and my impressions are very similar. Incredibly aggressive elf hate shoved in your face, the RTS system was nice but since you don't have a party (At least, as far as I got which was after the first boss) it's not utilized very well. The H content is repeated throughout the first area and you'll get maybe 3 or 4 different scenes. If you lose a battle the elf gets raped off screen and you have the option to see the birth of a monster egg or skip it (Top option is to see it, bottom is to skip. Have to clarify cause it's untranslated)

Now that's out of the way I do have to point out that although this IS a ONEONE1 work, it's a work from 2014, probably one of their earliest projects. Also must say again I didn't make it very far in the game, less than an hour.

DISCLAIMER: This is a review from the first 30 minutes of gameplay.

The story is aggressively clear about elf discrimination, but doesn't seem to do anything noteworthy with it except beyond "the men wanna bone me and the women hate me for making men want to bone me but also my kind is literally the military and more magically adept because I'm an elf of course"

The gameplay is cookie-cutter, but the action-time system is an underrated battle mechanic that I wish I saw more often. This game did not use the mechanic to its full potential--as far as I got it was just attack, wait five or more seconds depending on the enemies moves, attack, rinse, repeat. And I could tell by the fact it took four nearly-identical battles to get to level 2 (with no noticeable difference in power) that the game is boringly grindy.

H-content is nice, albeit extremely corny and exaggerated with the voicing. There's no interaction to it in combat, you kinda just get taken all the way to home base within three seconds and that's it (note that some enemies have its h-combat animation which was the main hook for me). Out-of-combat h-content is just a visual novel slideshow as per usual.

This game caught my interest because of the developer, but it doesn't seem that they've developed themselves all that much over the years when it comes to game design.
