Unreal Engine - The Last Barbarian Rebirth - Dungeon [v0.5.1] [Viktor Black]

Very boring and ugly unreal engine. Maybe it has some potential, but as version 0.5 it's very raw. I give one bonus star for enemy stagger in combat, cause some 3d slop games can't even implement that basic function, but everything else is very lackluster

Good experience, perfect renders, diverse options to play the character. I like this game series, i would like to have more content like that in this forums. Play that game and enjoy it. The virgin route is a must in all this games.

It's a good start to what I think will end up being a great game. Since it is just a start to the game one must accept a few flaws like prompts for missions that don't really exist. The combat also needs work but it serviceable. I find the targeting to be challenging because there doesn't seem to be an option to lock on to your target or adjust the mouse sensitivity. Again, work in progress, so I fully expect improvements to be made.

I really enjoy this game. I understand that since it's an adult game, combat gameplay doesn’t necessarily need heavy investment. However, the sex scenes should be improved—more realistic, with adjustable intensity, accompanied by expressive sounds and facial expressions. The character skins should also be enhanced, featuring more species and colors (which probably wouldn’t be too difficult), as well as more detailed skin folds for human characters.

The character customization is fun, with a decent variety of options, and it would be great if this could be expanded further. (Perhaps preset a few body types first, then let players fine-tune from there.)

- Weak visuals.
- Jank gameplay.
- Awful UI navigation.
- Lack of options, or existing options don't do anything (Anti Aliasing)
- Poor writing.
- Every single sentence either has a typo or a grammatical error.

As someone who's been following this game for years and been a longtime fan, I can honestly say I'm really liking the current direction of this game. I like the visuals, the gameplay, the fighting, and the content. Everything from the animations, enemies, to the actual puzzles just feels much more modernized without a big hit to optimization.

I'm excited to see how this continues to progress as some of the big mechanics from the last game and hopefully some of my favorite locations (TAVERN TAVERN TAVERN) slowly start to get brought up with a new look and feel.

I wanted to try this again since I haven't played for a while.

Firstly, I didn't get to test much as I went through the first section, go to the dungeon, beat Torus and then died. This wouldn't have been a problem but when I tried to load from save it dropped me under the world, then repeatedly did that over and over again until I had to force quit the game which put me off playing any further.

The UI is basic and a little clunky, the combat was not enjoyable for me in any way but wasn't awful. The models and animation are well done.

Still not particularly interested in this remake since I had no problems with the original version but I will continue to keep an eye on it to see if there's any improvement.

Lowering my review from 3 > 2 as I've seen little improvement and as stated, glaring crashes when playing.

The rating doesn't necessarily reflect how good/bad the game is, but it's hard to give a rating when there's limited content so far.

I (personally) never had any real issues with the original game, so I was surprised to see a 'rebirth', but the graphics do seem somewhat smoother, might be my imagination. Sex animations are fine, camera controls are decent (nice addition to offer PoVs for the sex scenes).

Overall, decent start, will wait to see how it progresses.
