This is probably the most asked question, but please bear with me. What's the current status of the game? Is in pretty much complete? Does it plays like a finished story?

the next update will probably have the conclusion of the story, there will likely be an epilogue update or two afterwards

you cannot "ignore" something. my walktrought it's so interlocked you can literally doing what it's written or you are lost.
and some event aren't obviously state the requirment
No, right, ignoring something will not work. I just had no idea how to proceed at this moment and tried it without it, finding fast out it is not an option. :)

After getting Neranda locked yours worked fine. I found out that Pope Biscuit's version on the wiki does not work.

I think it would be good to at the information about Neranda as a footnote directly to it. Just like footnote 52.

Kind of the entire game for start to finish is in, Pretty much all that remains is final optional dungeon, Epilogue and postgame, also extra reworks through out the game. in that order

Postgame being basically getting to go round the world and see the results of your choices through out the game.

Like you can play from start of the game to the final boss as is, also get the ending which reflects the prologue round the world trip really showing all the world power that you see in the prologue gone,

though in two to three updates(might have an extra rework update before the optional dungeon for new combat skills throughout the game) that gets expanded on with epilogue and also postgame the update after that

I mean on the walkthrough on said quest in the notes is that information right below the section already

what is the difference between the normal version and the RTP one?
RTP = Run Time Package. Run the game without needing the repsective version of RPGMaker installed.
If you don't have the same version of RPGMaker installed (VX Ace iirc) then you won't be able to use the "normal" version.

Can anyone tell me how long is a playthrough of this game? I know its not completed yet but if its short enough I might check it out now.

I wouldn't call it "short enough" by any measure. I've got over 76 hours as of 0.65.2... There's others with way more time and more up-to-date than myself.
That said, it's also a testament to the game's quality, in my opinion.

If you like story-driven RPGs, well written characters, then I highly recommend it.

It is not short. I think a completionist run may take about 100 hours (and it is quite difficult to not be a completionist with such games).

Thanks for the huge response to the last post - glad to know people care about the game. ^-^ No action will be taken on the combat system immediately, not least because I'm spread very thin, but you will eventually hear more about the battle busts as TLS moves toward completion.

Meanwhile, today's post is dedicated to another one of my old objectives that I have finally completed: improving the first impression of the game. Generally speaking, graphics are more important than writing or any of the qualities I'm able to bring to the table, and I understand why players might not want to take a chance on an RPG Maker game. So I have put some real effort into making the prologue look pretty, hopefully losing fewer new players when the game launches.

So there's stuff like having bridges/ropes/etc that you can walk both below and above. Does this make the game better? Not really, but it's something you can't do normally in RPG Maker, so it's a plus.

The title screen has also been shuffled around so it isn't in the default position. Thanks to Rachnera, Annikath, and Lamsey for helping with this. Lamsey is also the one to thank for the new sprite of Simon, which was more than I asked for but will hopefully help sell the big transition after the prologue. ^-^

I wanted to finish all of this and combine it with the optional dungeon, but right now it's looking like that won't be possible. I am pretty tired and it has been too long since an update. I am considering doing an update for all of the new combat mechanics and maps, so that can all be polished prior to the optional dungeon update.

Maybe sooner than later. We'll see.

I just started playing this game a few days ago, but after seeing this update I am wondering if it might just be better to wait for a few more updates.

Some sort of combat change is also mentioned. Can anyone shed some light on what sort of changes are being referenced?

I started this a few years ago, but decided to wait for a more complete version.... I guess I got impatient. It is clearly a good game.

Any speculation on how long it will be until the game is finished?

tecnically the game is complete. at the moment it's missing an optional dungeon you can access just before the point of no return and the epilogue (closing the few loose end not resolved in the final battle).

how long this will be done? my speculation is few months.

Hmm, I'm having trouble with Altina's Quest, I need to visit Ulrissa's tower and Elleani old cave but there are no shiny spots there. Anyone else have that problem?

After copying him, go back to the Queensmen Bar and talk to the guy in the bottom right correr. If necessary talk to him twice.

Didn't work, talked to everyone in there, twice. There was no one in the bottom right corner though, closest thing would have been the rune armor guy.

I eventually just moved on by killing the big man since I didn't feel it was worth it to spare him without the robe. Now it's the office orgy that i can't seem to trigger.

Wiki just says i have to tallk to the supervisor again after the smuggling quest, but it didn''t trigger any orgy.

Just says this:

Edit: I figured it out, you have to help all the workers first, I skipped one cuz i needed the extra days.

Here is an Imaige of the queenmans bar as well as the code from the Guy with Green hair in the right hand corner next to the barrell, also confronts on making the battle of 3rd Yhillin harder to get best results in which is the main reason to copy him, since either way he dies , also less helo to the poor

looking at it looks like you have the wrong Altina to get the iron robes if you got the Rune armor since that is doing the Kingsman barr instead. Mentioned in the secrets page as a reference

also yeah mot sure where you found on the wiki it says just do sumheling quest because in the 3 walkthrough, quest and scene page it is either directly at the end if said quest secetion or straight up says must do all office tasks, which means find the workers assist them, do the firist appeall, and second appeeal quest section and the smugelling section

Also 75 is out for patrons/ Subscribe star since mostly just large amount of combat and QoL changes amd some areas being made better will likely be out next week for public unless there is a silly amount of buggs.
