I agree with what Milton said about Livvy if you're not into her. I don't have a problem with her so I didn't notice it right away but looking back, the MC does lay it on really thick and then player agency can undo it. Maybe just have Livvy go with the MC no matter what since she's basically fucked if left in the capital. Even if the player isn't into Livvy, the MC has a history with her, and have been friends long enough that I can see trying to help her get a fresh start even if he doesn't want to fuck her anymore through the player's interaction. So those players can just tell her later "here's your fresh start." Granted, it sucks to come to a new place and then be kicked to the curb but at least she's not in a place where she's generally disliked and schemed against.

Outstanding start, the best new game I've started in a while. It has everything that I look for in a fantasy AVN. A well crafted world with interesting lore. A mystery that sucks me in and engaging characters that I want to get to know and of course, the ability to say no to whoever I want.

I don't mind the exposition dialogue, as it helps me immerse myself in the world and makes it even more enjoyable. If I had one nitpick, it would the MC 'drooling' over the women, before having a chance to turn them away. I get, giving compliments in those scenarios, but his thoughts and Livvy for example, to suggest she could be a mistress when MC is married, before ditching her and sending her back to her family, just feels a little off to me and a little nasty. But it's a minor nitpick.

Overall it's great and going straight into my Top 25.

Good catch. The MC does drool over the women and he is pretty much following his brother as a man whore. His father adores his brother, so MC tries to 'be' his brother, hoping his father will see him in a better light. In ch2, the MC suffers an event that wakes him up. He needs to walk his own path especially when it comes to relationships and who he wants to be . (That is all I will say without heading in to spoiler territory).

No idea why this has to be discussed in every single fucking thread. But for those who can read, F95 defines Netorare (NTR) as the following:

The brothers have agreed, Livvy consents, there is no further question that NTR is NOT the situation here.

Love or hate Livvy is up to the reader. From my perspective, Livvy is stuck in her situation and grasping for solutions to get out. Hence why she tells the MC, she "wants to do better." She wants to be the MC's mistress because she thinks that is the best she can do and the only option outside a whorehouse.

An 18yo girl abandoned by her family, thrust in to the court environment, can't really say no to a predator prince. However, she does enjoy sex and that seems to have upset some people. Mistress is not a career choice, it is a survival choice for Livvy.

PS There are many types of 'love'. The MC and Livvy do love each other but its a love between best friends. Both know they can never be in a relationship. Livvy is too low on the totem pole to ever be his mistress.

That is valid. I often don't like the situations my characters are in or what they do and often who they are. I want to tell a fantasy story, but at the same time I want it to be as 'real' as I can as well. For me, getting people to wake up and lift themselves out of bad situations is the most interesting part of the human existence and be default, story telling.

I don't hate Livvy, I understand where she's come from and what she is trying to do. Just, personally. I don't see her as a viable option for someone for my MC to be hanging around with. She's clearly not wife/harem material, she's not particularly liked around the court and my MC needs all the support he can get at the moment. So sorry love, I can't be your savior.

Girls like Jacinta, Charlotte and Sarissa bring much more to the table for me. Lydia, Janie, Rebecca and Tauriel will be very useful allies too, but I only see negatives with Livvy, and at the moment I have to look out for myself.

I wouldn't want her to be a main wife/gf/focus or anything but I like the fwb situation with her and I'm not put out at all that she gets hers in other places (with consent from MC and his brother). That said, this move is probably going to isolate her and I'm not sure how she will handle it. I'm actually 100% on board with her being a mistress.

While we're back on this subject, I agree.

I did choose to take her with me but did not do anything with her, nor will I. Sure, take her as a friend, give her that second chance. Even as a common whore I wouldn't care (some great whores/prostitutes in some great VN's I romance) but I do draw the line at also being my brothers puppet, especially one who is an ass at that heh (though I accept that is me, not the MC as he is portrayed within the contexct of the story, he doesn't care).

How does that not make sense? Being sent away for long periods of time. Is not an automatic I'm now going to sleep around. Now I can't exactly speak on royalty.... unfortunately. I'm sadly not that blessed. But I can speak on very long stints with military. And both parties being faithful after long periods apart.

Now one could argue whether it's likely or not. But the idea itself is very much realistic.

It would make sense if they were in an actual relationship. They aren't. She's his friend, she has sex with him, that's basically it. She's allowed to have sex with someone else via all parties consenting. I'm ex-military too. If you had a friend that only slept with you in between deployments, that's one hell of a friend and I'd do everything to keep them around.

If she was his girlfriend/significant other/wife, then yeah it would be weird for her to sleep around. Though even then, if all parties consented, it just slips into sharing territory.

But this wasn't about whether she is or isn't allowed to. Nor consent between all parties. That's already established in the game. Thing I replied to was about whether it made sense. And how realistic it is. Again, we can speak on likelihood of it working out. But her not sleeping around just because long stints. It is very much... or well could be a thing. Tis all I'm saying.

If a LI has multiple sexual partners other than the MC, if it is consensual (MC knows and is ok with it), does it matter if those encounters are shown or just are part of the story? The sharing tag should still apply, I think. I don't think it requires the MC being present either, i.e. MMF threesome isn't required for the sharing tag.

Anyway, when someone dislikes sharing in the story and it is present but the tag isn't, then that is a failure in correctly tagging a game. Even if it is optional. If it is properly tagged and someone is complaining about it, that makes no sense. As of this post, sharing isn't tagged nor mentioned in the Genre spoiler in OP where future tags usually go.

The tags need to change. The mod did the tags. I'm going to message them about it, I just haven't had a chance to go through the tag list. For example, Harem needs to be added and not sure about why the monster sex tag. We will get it all sorted in time.
