The tags need to change. The mod did the tags. I'm going to message them about it, I just haven't had a chance to go through the tag list. For example, Harem needs to be added and not sure about why the monster sex tag. We will get it all sorted in time.

I think the tag isn't needed because it was in her past and there haven't been any scenes present in the story yet. There's not even a scene from the past, it's just dialogue referencing her past. I can't speak to if there will be any future scenes since that is the dev's decision but given the MC (and her if you choose) are getting sent across the continent, it doesn't seem like the situation will come up again, unless she finds someone new, which I can't see happening.

I don't think Elves count as monster. Other stories that have Elves (Neverwhere Tales comes to mind) isn't tagged as monster or monster girl despite the fact there are Elven LIs (Medb, probably someone else I can't recall) Either it's mistagged or there's something bigger going on.

It's not like the tags are exact science though. Maybe someone saw the countess ex gf and thought that she was a monster.

Yeah I took Livvy and Jacinta. When the King summoned Livvy, I noticed I didn't have a choice to try to stop it, so I just wrote it off that nothing was going to happen and it was a NTR jumpscare. Sure enough, nothing happened to her.

I completely forgot about Xal'Zorrak and angel stuff. That's it.

And some people do have a problem with any potential LI not being a virgin or having had a sexual past, and that is a bit extreme, IMO, depending on how recent and whether that applies to the current story. I mean, how exactly can you have a good incest story without at least one of your LIs (Mom?/Aunt?) having a sexual history?

At any rate, the problem I can see is that if you don't care for sharing in the "present" story, or you don't care for a LI that is actively sexual with other men than the MC, the fact that you can't ignore and write off Olivia at all will qualify as an undesirable "forced" LI. That is another reason I think this should be tagged with sharing at this point. Someone who filters out sharing will not see this game and won't need to bother with it. Someone who looks for or doesn't mind sharing would be ok with the content, most likely.

It really comes down to the purpose of the tagging system. It should be a tool to aid in filtering searches and content. F95 has a very large and active content library and it is in both the Devs' and Users' interests, both, that the tagging and filtering system is as accurate and useful as possible. The updated tags need to get implemented and the search page needs to finally come out of its 'alpha' state and provide some improved tooling.

If I can choose to reject or accept li's why am I already groping / kissing / flirting / in love with them without any choice? Even after avoiding sex.. Mc drools over each and every one of them and other than Yenna and the elf I have avoided all possible. If you say no to things there are continuation errors, f.e people will suggesting you did something you didn't because there is no alt scene or dialogue change for it, if you don't pick a whore at the whore house you don't get attacked but the vn still acts like you did get attacked the next morning. All this +li points that do basically nothing so far, a few scenes you can avoid other's you cant.

Maybe I could of dug deeper into the thread and spoiled everything but I only noticed people moaning about Liv and the dev saying you could avoid li's and even go solo. I saw the tags and expected a nice fantasy harem with a cool story with a girl named Liv I should avoid. I got some lesbian girls fucking other people, no romance at all and a mc with a just turned 18 year old bro fucking everything walking. Including a girl mc loves and is freely sharing with his bro and has no problem with that. It's not articulated fully but the kid bro would have been a minor too because they talk about it like it has been going on years, mc has been away for "the better part of 2 years", then alot of history before that as mc talks about various things that happened in the past. It does not matter if you can avoid Liv later when you have to suffer reading through it as though mc loves her and happy sharing her.

With the missing swinging/sharing, prositution and voyeur tags I would have looked at the thread more and never have downloaded. I guess its fine if you dont mind the tags not listed, pretty poor animations and the continuation errors but generally fine.

Yeah, that is the other problem and part of what the new tagging system is supposed to be partially addressing. But until then, you got to think about in these terms:

Let's say one of person A's big turn-offs is anal. Like, they can be two strokes from cumming and a scene with anal can deflate them almost instantly.
Let's say person B's big kink is anal. They can not be too terribly attracted to the girl in a scene, but if anal is on the table, then that matters less and they can get rock hard.

With our current tagging system, a game can have a scene with light anal fingering and by your argument it shouldn't be tagged anal because it isn't "anal enough" for person B above. Meaning that when they put the tag anal in their search criteria they aren't looking for that game because a finger in the ass in one scene is not enough in their mind to warrant the anal tag.

However, for person A, when they put the tag anal in the ignore portion of the search filter, that one scene can put them off of that game completely.

There is a big difference in content that doesn't exactly excite you as much as you want it to, and content that ranges from a straight turnoff to gagging disgust.

It makes more sense that the content in that theoretical game be tagged with anal based on the impact having or not having that tag can have.

It's kind of like saying that since some movie only has one brief scene where someones head gets ripped off in full view (or in the US a very slight nipple slip), that it shouldn't be rated R since that doesn't happen anywhere else in the movie. That is not how that works for the reasons there are rating systems for movies.
