Unreal Engine - The Magissy: Reloaded [v0.4.5] [Bit Fat Games]

This is for game version 0.4.5.

The game looks promising, but has some major issues, the biggest of which is that the gameplay is just not there.

Visuals:

• Generic as heck guy & girl
• Girl's torso... is missing during sex-scenes? Like there's a huge ring missing above her pelvis, completely see-through.

Combat needs work:

• Attacks have no feedback (no enemy gets hit animation, no 1ms stutter to signify "oompf", etc.)
• Dodging has no feedback (you can just as easily just step back, same exact result)
• Blocking has no feedback (no sparks or sound, and did it work? what did it cost? is it just stamina?)
• Combat feels stiff as hell
• Perks just plain don't work - Vampirism, which should convert 10% of damage to hp, does not

The quests don't work either.

• The blacksmith won't give the catacombs special sword quest to you if you play as a girl
• You can insta-turn in the wine quest to the bandit/brigand guy at the top of the hill right after you got it
• The quest markers mark the quest givers, not the quest locations (???)

The inventory is horrific.

• If I click-and-drag an item, it should "pop" to signify it's selected (it doesn't)
• Inventory controls persist to the map screen
• You can't click on the word "Map" up top, you gotta click the arrow to scroll to the map (huh?)
• Inventory weight? Really? Shared between ingredients AND consumables AND equipment? In my porn game? Localized entirely on my PC? Psshhh

And finally... the sex:

• Guy PC doing the sex => costs money
• Girl PC doing the sex => free lmao (bug obviously)
• Dude at start is bugged and won't unlock his gallery/harem mode at all
• Girl PC so far has literally 1 position - arched back, getting eaten out like she's a hot pie during winter (and her torso's cut in half, see above)

I mean, it's promising but this ain't 0.4.5, chief. This is 0.1 at most, unless you wanna cram an entire combat rework in .5, quests in .6, updated models and character creator in .7, 30-40-50 actual sex poses in .8, defeat/monster sex in .9, and for 1.0.0 do a UI refresh.

In this game you can choose the gender, but as is the case in AAA games, it is more tailored to one gender. Here it is the man. The combat system is fine for the development of a small studio. It doesn't hurt and you can work with it. The dialogues are good! Not too extravagant and interesting. Different levels of development are provided in the gameplay. The women and men are so attractive that one wishes the implementation would be expanded.

Just not playable...

Constantly running into bugs.
Cant buy stuff from shop, like the leather armor i had the money but it wouldent let me buy it.
Crafting items dosent show up in inventory, its stil there and can use it but never shows and items description vanish and never show up again.
Barely making damage on monsters but they kill you in 3-4 hits where you need 50+ hits to kill them....and thats with a "new sword" as well.
Falling cant kill ya even though it should...game treats you as you did get killed so game breaks so monsters cant see you and you cant attack or talk to anyone.

Cant say ive seen many sex scenes but they are pretty damn bad, you cant really see much of anything, the MC never cums? you can just click exit when your tierd of watching its pretty pointless.

Game could have potential to be a fun open world RPG but it needs to much work for it to ever happen, game is 4½ years old now and still full of bugs, bad sex scenes, only 1 skill set out of 3 works so your stuck with warrior, considering how old game is progress is extremly slow.

The running around is boring since you dont have much stamina and world is just to big, maybe if you get mounts or something later it would be ok but getting to that point would take ages if its even in game.

Voices are ok but ive seen and heard better in AVNs, in this one they lack emotions and feel more like someone reading a page.

Theres just to much to be fixed and to slow progress for it to ever be finished.

This game has become really impressive with time. Great level design and visuals. A variety of quests force you to travel the world with good leveling as you gain equipment. One of my favorites and compliments to the team for improving at a good pace.

This review is less of a review and more of a warning.

Pending an eventual revisit, as I would love to have a full-fledged RPG with adult content, I'm leaving this as a one star for the time being given that it nuked my audio setup.

Immediately after opening the program, my headphones turned into a mess of unintelligible static across the entire system, persisting past the closure of the game and even across a computer restart. Reinstallation of the associated audio drivers did fix it, but I'm sure not about to try again.

I so want to like this, since the concept is great.
But the execution is just not up to par.
Loading stalls half the time, so you have to close down the game the hard way.
When it actually loads, movement is sluggish, and camera has a tendency to get tilted and stuck there.
Encounters with the girls are bugged, like when MC turns his back on a girl giving a blowjob.
One of the girls will offer to follow you, and she might, but most of the time she just stands casting a spell, while you run to next quest part, where she just teleports in.
Selling is bugged too, when I got a extra pair of boots, I sold one pair from inventory, but lost those I was wearing.

All in all, a great concept with extremely poor execution.

Barely a game, yet has lots of fancy visuals and even voice acting...
At this point it feels liek the presentation is valued more than gameplay purely to attract donations.
It plays someone saw a RPG game once and then described it to someone else, that someone else then created half of what the heard and you get this...

Combat has no interactions- there's no reactions to hitting or getting hit, dodge is the only option beside move and attack to fight the most basic, "follow and attack" enemies.
Movement speed is garbage, sprinting consumes stamina and it being a large map makes "exploration" tedious rather than rewarding.
There's plenty of loot to collect, most of which has no purpose beside "quest item", can't even use consumables since "f to consume" does nothing and while there is a slot for consumables, there's no apparent shortcut for it.

Given how slow it's going, I might give it a try in a year or so...
Do not recommend anyone does the same.

Ambitious game, falls somewhat short on execution. Map, quest design and combat needs some work, especially the map - you don't really know where the paths are headed and most of the time just hope that you are headed in the right path even with the quest markers. The scenes so far are okay-ish, I'd really appreciate a proper pov cam during the scenes. Also, even though the game offers you the option to play as a female protagonist the dialogues and interactions are definitely not designed for it. I'm sure they'll improve these as they go along, I'd be happy to change the ratings once the game becomes more polished and coherent.

Till then, a 3 star rating from my side as of 0.2.1.

This game is good. I like to play the open world game for female protagonist and this game is great. And the map is beautiful. Though the female MC can play is few but can see The developers are hard working for it.

Can't wait to see more in the future~

Interesting game, reminded me a lot Gothic 2.
I've been following the game for a long time and it's nice to see how it develops.
You can see that the developers have big plans and I wonder how it will all end.
The game is best described by the phrase "witcher with 18 + mods"

It's a good fucking game, even though it's still under development.
I liked the voice acting of the female characters, the graphics, and the cool level design.

I really enjoyed the game. It’s one of the best I played here. The new update has come and now I can say for sure the game is heading in the better direction. The start was pretty much an utter failure, but the head of the project made some good decisions. Now the only thing this game needs is time and being given a second chance. Ok, the game is still not finished, but when you play the game from beginning and the team keeps the quality, it will be a very good game in the end.

The game is simply great. A must play!

I'm writing this review because I don't understand why the game was given such a low rating. Maybe it looked terrible before, but what I've seen now is very good.
The graphics are pleasing to the eye, there is at least some story, and the trailer looks very great, I would even say it exceeds the budget that the developers have at the moment, so I have a feeling that they can make a very high quality game.
Yes, there are some flaws in the game now (some characters have robot voice acting, and the mechanics of sex are not quite clear, the lack of some sandbox), but I want to support the developers and give them a chance to make a good game, so I give my rating of 4/5.

Very nice trailer, haven't seen anything like this before in games like this.
Very nice graphics, and even a nice voiceover for the characters (not all of them, of course, but they have one ).
The game has something to do, not just run around like a courier and talk to different characters, I was able to pick up wine in barrels or fight with some scary rat in a cave, well, and of course die from it. Dialogues with the characters are not as dumb, but places still need to work out, of course.
I see a very large potential in the project to develop, I hope the developers will get good feedback and continue to improve this creation.

Played this game a year or two ago. I agree with the reviews, there was not much content. But time passed and I stumbled upon it again and a lot has changed. Looks like a completely different game and unlike many games of this nature there is more to do besides sex. I would like to see more all sorts of mystical creatures woman snake or something. I saw a cat girl in the last screenshots, I'm not a fan of furry. But playing this game makes me feel mildly crazy and ready for anything. If it's suggested to me to fuck a dragon I won't be surprised.
Technically it's gotten better and more convenient. Launcher is no longer there or it is not here.
I wish that all projects had developed so and pleasantly surprised.

In learning how to make games I have a newfound respect for what it takes in time, skill, and personal resources, yet I strongly believe that to make a successful game in a competitive environment, the developer (myself or yourself) needs to give a little extra to bring players to their game. This game takes, takes, and gives interested newcomers little to enjoy. However, clearly a TON of hard work has been spent modeling, designing, and programming this game. I imagine the paying user would find it hard to be disappointed. The price is high, and even if 100% free is unrealistic to the developer, the way these games grow is through opinions and comments and ratings in forum sites such as this one. Money may fund the advance of the game, but hunting down free assets and mechanics, though few and far between, may shift the funds and open the game up for players who WANT to explore this vast magical world, but are unable to because the barrier in their way is just unrealistic.

This is a cool game and if you have deep pockets/hard drives then go for it. Otherwise I'm sorry to say it, but I would pass until there's more content to explore.

I needed to make an account for this game, sure I made one.
After I made my account, I found out that was my biggest mistake.

The game is glitchy, buggy, everything.
I press K to see my QUEST but nothing there I saw then I cannot closed the menu so I needed to end the whole game which made me sad for the time I waited to download because the game is around 7GB and for so much I expect much more than just censored girl. I am sorry but this game does not even need a 1 star because nothing works as it should. The girl is censored, I cannot understand why my boobs are always small and after all has no joy in further playing it. Total 0.

Here are the problems with these kinds of posts.

These developers, who have limited knowledge that they have seen through Youtube videos and tutorials on how to take already created content from various 3D modeling sites and make them into absolutely broken games, even on release, have only one goal and that is to take quick, small amount of money as scammers.

There is nothing in this so called "pre-Alpha" or w/e releases that speaks that this game will be even finished and that it will work as "they say it will work".

They say: "Do not worry, we will release uncensored and working versions for free users", but they stay behind their launchers, thinking they are some big shot AAA company.

I saw some people supporting them. I want to ask them 1 question: "WHY?". What made you to give them money so early?

Anyhow, although there is "potential", the way they are doing it is wrong. People give them advice, but they ignore them and continue to exploit.

I have given my last comment, I am not going to bother anymore. Gonna check the progress, but never I will support this kind of nonsense!

Normally I don't review stuff like this, I just lurk. But since there really isn't one, I'd thought I'd give my opinion and write one.

This game is shit. Even for a WIP, beta, demo ect. it's shit.
This game is like, what, 8 gigs and has 2 characters, 2 rooms, 2 sex animations and nothing else. No game play just nothing. You'll spend more time downloading and installing this than playing it. It's not worth the time.

The game does have character customization, but it's the bare minimum. Just some very basic body sliders, hairs and makeups for a female model. Not much for outfits. You wont spend a lot of time here.

The female model isn't much to look at. It's poorly made with bad proportions. Just looks bad. The animations are nothing special either.

The shit cherry on the shit sundae is the censored nudity. This porn game must be really lacking in content if it treats basic nudity (the most basic of basic porn game content) like some sort of premium extra special content . The creator is just grasping at straws to try and get patreon bucks. And with 12 patrons I don't think it's working too well.

I just don't understand how a game can have such a huge file size, but have absolutely no content at all.
