i have a question, i started playing the game got to the point of the video call with the principal and then the game ended, it didnt really take a lot of time to get there so i wonder does the game have more content than that or is that it? i did assume the game would have more content since it was originally released in 2020 so i thought a 4 year old game should have plenty of content but it felt a bit barebones right now but maybe i did something wrong when playing and theres more behind it then i know

It's kinda in development hell so that's why the story ended so abruptly, there's eventually going to be more because it seems they're starting progress again

the creators always had this as a side project their main projects being comics and then after the last release there were some issues with different people in the group and i think at one point it dropped down to one person. since then the creator has said on here that they are picking it back up but not to expect anything quickly.

Not abandoned (I didn't post that tag) but progressing at the speed of a crippled snail. For full disclosure we did in fact finally found some help and the game is actively been worked on for the first time in a long while so there is that.

Honestly, I hope The Mind Society game is not dead cause it was the first game that was brought me into it, and I enjoyed the product that it served quite frankly I'm here to enjoy the game and not the comics hopefully they figure out a better schedule for releases of the game and help with development

ah ok that makes sense, atleast they can start working on it, there have been so many promising projects that got abandoned because of stuff like this, it generally just confuses one if you look at the version number which in this case is 0.5 and combined with the age of the game you just assume"oh its prb halfway there to a 1.0 release" but yeah people can choose their version numbers how they want it to be and if they increase the pace now then we might get a decent amount of content in the future, wish other devs in the past could get back into their games like the guys behind devine arms f.e. but we prb will never get that so hearing this dev is starting to work more on it and not abandon it is good to know

We are all happy that the game is in active development again, but if the date in the OP is right and this game's last update was published in April 2023, then it's been over 18 months and the game should be marked Abandoned as per this site's own rules.

The only way around that I could see is if someone from the development team is directly in contact with the staff of F95Zone and there's some kind of agreement to hold off on that. Now, I have no idea whether said agreement exists; and if it does, I have no idea what the stipulations of it might be. I'm highly doubtful there's any special arrangement for this game, so I agree that this has gone past the point of avoiding the prefix.

I'm in for an answer on this as well. This is one of my favorite games. I don't have the skill set currently to participate in development. I'm game to join in on Patrion as a supporter, but if there is something else we can do please let us know.

I have experienced 3d artists and renpy/unity coders so it should be a walk in the park. Would be able to push out an update every 1-2 months guaranteed. Can show references of previous work if needed.

They don't support the game, they support the "comics" that they make. They do a bunch of comics and that is their main thing, the game was a side thing. If you check the OP they are still working and trying to find someone to take over.

It needs an "on-hold" tag as it's not abandoned but on-hold until someone takes over or they continue at the snail's pace of it.
