The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is Episode 1...
This is one of the worst stories I've ever read...
The visuals of the characters are ok for some, good for other, but not the best... The backdrops are odd looking, even though they looks somewhat unique... The animations are fluid, but the camera angles are odd...
The script is full of broken English as well as spelling/grammar errors... The plot is extremely hard to understand and convoluted at the same time... After playing through the whole thing you find out that the story revolves around a male protagonist private detective that lives with a woman (unsure if it's his daughter, room mate, or wife) and is asked to investigate a gang that has orgies... The story is so scatterbrained and moves so darn rapidly that it is really hard to nail down the over all plot...
All the dialogue and monologue is so badly translated/interpreted it makes your head spin when reading it... Add that to how quickly the story jumps from one scene to the next, it feels like this whole VN/Game was thrown together using a dart board while drunk... The game mechanics have the protagonist making choices that either raise his Negotiator rating or Punisher rating... Which apparently controls how some of the story presents itself... Punisher rating goes up by basically being a jerk to everyone, and Negotiator goes up by being basically civil and calm... There is even a creative mini-game, during a fight, which you can just keep repeating over and over and over until you succeed...
The protagonist goes from being asked to check out a gang that is having orgies, then you meet the woman living with him really quick, then you talk to a prostitute, then you make your way into the gang HQ where he finds an orgy taking place, he willingly takes a pill from one of the women because he has a headache (who in their right mind does that?), finds out it's acid, he has an acid trip which basically has him selecting one of the women to have either one on one sex with or group sex due to the acid (what?), some how the woman that lives with him appears at the location after he is over being high and she is passed out from some sort of drug she took, he takes her home and either Punishes her or Negotiates with her (what?), after which he meets up with a gang member he met after the orgy, and from there it begins to get really confusing and far more convoluted...
Overall, this is some of the worst story writing I have ever seen... It jumps from scene to scene so quickly... Being broken English was bad enough, but the story makes barely any sense and feels so rushed and unsure of itself... It claims to be a cinematic looking VN with a deep story, but that is far from the truth... This whole thing is worse than a B-rated porn movie... It's like taking the dumbest porn story imaginable, cutting it down to half size, throwing it in a pot, partially melting it, then throwing it at a the audience in VN form... Where these folks stoned out of their minds when putting this thing together? I don't know...
Will I revisit this one? Hell to the NO... Even if they fix the English, it will still be a horrible story to read and follow...
