VN - Ren'Py - The Motel [Oct 2025] [DDfunlol]

TLDR: if you like the theme of a sexually weak man having to let his wife fuck others - then you will prolly like it, otherwise - don't bother with this novel.

The pacing is definitely off. The first sex the wife has is with this orc with the dick bigger than her legs. It should have been culmination of a long corruption build-up, not the start of it.

Another problem is that both characters (the wife and the husband) are unlikable. So you are essentially forced to follow two miserable characters and their petty sexual life.

Sexually, their relationship is essentially swinging - the wife encourages the hubby to have sex with other women so she can fuck other men. That's it, there's no build-up, wife changes overnight into this mad swinger, allegedly because of magic, but she doesn't even try to resist it anyway.

During sex with other men she keeps saying that the husband can't satiate her sexual desires. This is the central theme here - the husband is sexually weak so she has to fuck other men and she doesn't care if her pathetic husband fucks other women in the meantime, she even encourages him to do it, so that he doesn't get upset much.

I think this game was enjoyable for the first like 30 minutes or so, before the night when the wife fucks the orc. After that it just goes astray and becomes completely mindless.

I was pending between 2 and 3 stars for this one and opted for a generous 3, tough its obvious flaws:

- Writing is utter trash. Even I as a non native speaker feel disgusted how the English language continuesly gets butchered here. Grammar fails, terrible syntax, 1-to-1 translations of non-English proverbs...gosh, either find translaters who speak proper English or put the whole dialogue in deepl or sth., can't be worse compared to whatever THIS is.

- Bad/no sound. Annoying background music which you will either turn off or turn down to 5% after literally 2mins and almost no sfx. No moaning, no lewd sounds, nothing. I personally find sound-support very important and here its basically missing completely.

- Bad character development. Yes. Writing is not only poorly done in form, but also in content. Premise is kinda bullshitish (some kind of native-american-curse turns your wife into a slut) and even with this nonsense as a premise its just not done accordingly (way too fast).

- Kinks are missing / tags are misleading. It is more or less a NTS only game with barely any NTR in it. All the stuff basically is consensually between MC and wife or he at least approves of it. "Gay" content almost excusively happens betweens two side-characters without MC beeing involved- so if u hoped for some forced bi or bi-cuckolding- play sth. else.

- Too less choices: some stuff basically gets forced upon you, even if you are not interested in it- like some extramarital affairs of MC with female guests or the housekeeper or some of the gay content.

At the end of the day this can be an okayish play if NTS is your main kink, but even if that is the case it won't be anything special or of high quality.

I've played Motel's first version and It was already an amazing game. This new version is also a masterpiece. Personnaly, I find that The motel, with FWNSU (Fate will not Seperate Us) is one of the best game over NTR, NTS, Cheating, Cuckolding. I recommend !

5-stars for what it COULD be. I've never done that before, but I SO want this thing to be good that I've actually began learning Ren'py/Python coding specifically to see if I can fix parts of THIS game for myself.

Negatives:
1. Unavoidable gay content. Almost all of it happens between other characters in the background, but I still have to see it, so it's NOT avoidable. In addition, if you take the NTR path, there is a scene with a ghost that forces the MC to engage in homosexual activities (or at least I've found no way to avoid it.)
2. Dialogue is horrible. English is CLEARLY not the developer's nor the two editor's native language. Nor do they all even understand much of english sentence structure. Many times I felt I was reading good attempts at dialogue, though written backwards, or maybe peppered with cultural ticks found in other, non-english speaking countries that don't make sense in these settings.
3. More of a personal taste than a negative; I wish the developer would have given the option for the cuckolding to have been non-concentual. Maybe one NTR path where Ted is definitely on board, and another where he's apposed, but can't do anything about it. I'm currently rewriting the script file to have this experience, and I'm finding that it can fit into all the same scenes, with only needing to change the character's headshot expressions. No new content would be required except dialogue and choices. Missed opportunity.

Positives:
1. Character models and most of their personality traits are spot on. Nina, in particular, is right in my wheelhouse, and is a contender for my all-time favorite character here on F95. Ted is endearing, despite the poor dialogue. Some of the rest of the characters are fairly hollow and definitely in need of further development, but haven't been stunted to the point that they have hit an emotional dead-end. The author has given them all room to grow.
2. The Motel concept allows for much growth to the story and number of characters, while keeping everyone cozy within the world. At this point there has been no indication of how many rooms there are, so there is a lot of possibilities for new content.
3. There's enough distinct environments in the game to keep everything fresh and moving, while still able to stay connected to the whole. Nothing really seems out of place or tacked-on.
4. Dispite the bad dialogue, the underlying meaning of what the characters are trying to convey is very solid. Good conversations, even though poorly executed.

I really hope this game doesn't get the "abandoned" tag. But if it ever does, I've seen enough that I'd try my hand at completing it for myself.

The author knows ntr. Well written story in the beginning and certain route of the game. I have to say there is a route that was so random. I hated it. But focus on the good part, this game is a 5/5. Felt like two completely dif authors made the game.

Spectacular game. If you desire to see any flavour of swinging, this is a must play. Well written (although I agree with the critics that the style of writing is peculiar, not for eveybody), quirky, fun characters with good dialogues, fun and consensual swinging exploring different fetishes, warning you in advance what fetish you're walking into. I admit, the models could've been slightly better (the shape of butts in this game is.... weird), but it's a minuscule detail, it doesn't spoil the experience. The story is slightly silly like usual in porn, but the storytelling is awesome, light and pleasant. Perhaps in some parts the action veers too much from swinging to cheating - there are some moments of dubious consent - but the theme is so lighthearted, it doesn't bother me that much, even though I hate cheating.

If, like myself, you've been waiting for eternity to find a cuckolding game where the MC isn't a pathetic, degenerate, whiny bitchlord, then this is it. This is the game. Actually fun MC with a cool but not exaggerated personality.

If I had one thing to complain about, it would be the lack of choices, although it's a VN, so that's what you expect to get. But then again, many VNs have "choices" that have fuckall meaning, and only exist to piss you off, so maybe that's not a downside.

Also don't listen to the brainrot about supposedly unavoidable M/M scenes - in the whole game I recall just one scene, where you find yourself in a MMF threesome and briefly commit the gay with no choice to be made, but other than that all homosexual stuff is skippable and non-intrusive. And if 30 seconds of mild gayness in a 4-hour long game is a complete deal-breaker to you, you might have some issues to discuss with your therapist.

This game has some of the absolute worst writing I have ever seen. Formatting, grammar, terminology, nonsensical dialogue, the writing is simply bad. What makes this worse is the fact that there's apparently TWO "proofreaders", which the player is being reminded of every single time they boot the game up. Like...seriously? Are these guys blind or something?

If the developer doesn't feel the need to use spellchecks or free formatting tools which can be found all over the internet, fine. But the TWO proofreaders????? This is beyond lazy, and calling these people proofreaders is an insult to anyone who actually does it, because these guys clearly aren't doing it. Apart from that, the writing is often times borderline incoherent...gibberish. The dialogue is so dumb it could have been written by a 9 year old.

The graphics are extremely outdated, which other reviewers seem to either ignore, or for some reason simply aren't honest about. These are very basic and super old DAZ assets with the renders being really noisy/grainy for the most part. Very little effort put into character details or backgrounds. Image ratio is also completely off. 4:3 format, more or less, when pretty much the entire planet has 16:9 monitors. What even is going on here?

Story...well, the game offers a bunch of kinks/fetishes, which is the only reason I'm giving it two stars. The story itself is very bland and goes from 0 to 100 in no time without ever really giving insight as to who these characters are. They basically have no background other than their name and gender. Same thing applies to the world this game takes place in. It's more or less a boring fuckfest VN.

This game COULD be a 4-star title if only the developer had put some effort into writing a somewhat sensical and engaging story, some character depth/development and possibly proofreaders who actually do...proofread. Oh, and better graphics....much better graphics.

The game is good. There is plenty of characters with really good renders and CGs. Game offers variety of different paths to satisfy a variety of fetishes and kinks.
All of the paths are segregated and you have a warning if you do not wish to see that kind of content. Story and plot is average, as its lacking build-up in a lot of places and characters seem gullible.

No, really. I must say that I kinda like this game. Girl models are hot. Renders are nice, but not top though (3.5-4 out of 5). Plus the image ratio - all renders a not 16:9, but closer to 4:3. And the sex stories are hot with main focus on NTR. Actually not really "NTR", but "Hotwife", but since "the vibe" is close to NTR I'll leave it be.

The main cons for me (why "good", but not "excellent") - well, mostly written in the first sentence. There is almost no "build-up". And what is an NTR without build-up???.. The MC is a total retarded cuckold. Though the MC (and developer) claims that he is not a cuckold, but a "voyeur"... yeah, sure...

A little note: a "voyer" likes to secretly watch other people doing sex. When a person watches someone fucking his wife and actually dreaming her to be fucked. Plus there is huge dialogue (thought) inconsistency: one minute MC thinks he must do smth so that his wife wouldn't fuck with someone (probably that's when developer remembers what NTR should look like), but the next sentence he is wishing for his wife to be fucked and actually cheers when someone's dick enters her cunt or ass. #facepalm

And about the wife... yeah, she's definitely hot, but a total 100% certified slut. From the very beginning! Without any "corruption"/"blackmailing" etc. happening. Why? Well, maybe because she decides to suck a cock the first possibility she gets? She's just sitting in a tub with another girl, a dude shows his dick, girl starts sucking, then says smth like "You should try too!" - and "the devoted wife" starts sucking a random guy's dick at an instant... being two meters away from her husband. Like "I am a simple girl: I see a dick near my face - I suck it". Nothing personal. Just a "devoted wife" reflex.

It's a pretty good game, but not without caveats.

The CGs are pretty good. Every character is unique, but still sexy in its own way. Animations aren't that bad either, although a bit clunky in some instances.

Has content for everyone in terms of sexuality (gay, lesbian, straight...) which is huge deal in regards to variety when 80% of games are aimed at hetero men, so that's a big plus.

That being said, everything else is pretty 'meh'.

The story's a mess. I can barely understand anything that's happening because it's composed through a barrage of unending dialogues. Those, by the way, are also pretty atrocious. They feel more like incoherent ramblings than actual words spoken by actual people. And it's not just a matter of grammar, but of meaning too. Why are characters just changing subjects constantly or spewing random remarks all the time?

Honestly, if it were me, I'd cut the whole game in half to make it more streamlined rather than force the player to go through a hundred lines of poorly written dialogues inbetween sex scenes. Also, maybe add more signals to know which choices open up which paths, but that's a less impactful complain.

I've always seen this game in the list, but never gave it a shot. I'm glad I finally did. I had no idea this game had the following kind of content.

Themes: Hotwifing / Cuckolding / Stag / Qos (Queen of Spades) / Sharing, all without humiliation. MC has sex with his wife and other women on a regular basis, all while she has sex with other guys. Lots of interracial QOS if you're into that.

In order to get to the interracial sex, it's locked behind a complicated system. I couldn't figure it out, but if you search the thread, I uploaded an RPY file that makes it easier to allow Nina to go to the Nightclub; the events afterwards are very hot.

This game is totally worth playing if you like the hotwife concept.

PROBLEMS: The game forces a lot of sexual scenarios that you might not want. A lot of porn games make this mistake. So in one scenario you're totally turned on, but then it forces sex scenarios you might not be into, so then you're turned off.

I'm giving this game 5 stars because I'm rating it on a curve.

Game isn't perfect, and is very rough around the edges, but it's worth playing for the hotwife scenes.

I loved this game! Honestly, for a long time I was avoiding it because the overview really didn't appeal to me... I think, I don't remember well. But yesterday I decided to try it and... I'm conflicted about the game. For one thing, the basic story is good and the pictures are great, but the story itself isn't logical. So Ted is totally jealous of his wife when she says other men have bigger penises, and at the same time he urges her to sleep with other people. That's not consistent.

Good, simple fun. The game is not a huge experience, but it has enough of a story and exciting scenes to be worth playing. The renders are good, it's easy to navigate around, and the rewards are worth the clicking.

I approached this game as a fan of sharing/NTR and, in that regard, it doesn't disappoint. I also appreciate the setup since it is out of the norm and an interesting backdrop. That said, it seems they are going with a supernatural cause for the wife to slut it up, and I'm not really a fan of that approach. Where the game really suffers, however, is the poor English and how hard the game locks you into different paths. For the latter, I get that the creators want to encourage replayability, but in some cases, rather than being a truly different path, it's just a different scene that is happening at the same time. Maybe they are trying to downplay the NTR aspects since you can choose to solely focus on the MC's exploits, but it comes across as needlessly limiting.

At the end of the day, I really think this one will come down to individual preference. That said, I appreciate that this is still relatively early, so I'm not ready to write it off just yet.
