I'm pretty sure that Templars are illegal. Most countries forbid paramilitar groups of acting in their territories and all I see based on addresses and city environment makes me believe they are in Chicago. Illinois state is one of those which paramilitary organizations are outlawed. Also, they most surely use legit bussiness to syphon resources to their order and most surely they They resort to accounting fraud for that. Exposing them would bring FBI and every law enforcement agency to their doors, and their assets would be frozen, by all means.

Yeah ... just that all the Matrix movis and games, mission impossibles, Bournes and MIBs are tit for that exactly what you seem to hate in this game. Maybe watch some of those awesome films some more and try to enjoy this game for what it is, rather than what it is not. So strage being overly happy to enjoy the whino MC rather than actual fantasy action scy fy gaming.

There is a difference: In Matrix games humanity is slave of non human machines, mission impossible, bournes and MIB's are government related agencies, invested of legallity and legitimacy to represent the people. Templars are rogue in essence, clandestines and most legislations outlaw groups like them.

I feel like there's some sort of joke in here that i'm not getting. Does she ACTUALLY get fucked and we get to see it? I'm thinking not and this is a joke of some kind. I'm still going though so not important to tell me for sure. Gonna play it regardless, just hoping dev has some content in there of some kind for her eventually.
I understand the reasoning of the Order, Parents and even Kaija or whatever was MC's "girlfriend" name. The needs of the many outweights the needs of the few. Duty before dishonor, service before personal gains.
But because I understand them, doesn't mean I have to like them, especially when those "supposed virtues" are simply an excuse even characters have problems believing in them.
Developer apparently sees those, because MC have situations calling his bodyguard and parents on those, which is pretty enjoyable, because there ain't many games that allow for MC to go outright balistic for right reasons, but the more you read the confrontional part of the argument with parents, the more you think they are either incompetent at thier job and parenting or simply being retarded, which brings the question if MC ain't actually adopted?
Also, depending on how much points with Kaiju you have, she can be either order's operative of questionable morale, capable of sleeping with the target if it means achieving the mission goals, a friend who is confliced about it, or a lover that did it out of duty to the order and is sorry about it. Whatever it is, she really did a poor job as bodyguard, by being most of the time away from MC.
Sadly, if you actually play the "resonable" angry MC way, the game simply skips a lot of stuff, training included. Making this very short game full of plot holes.
Hell, if actually was MC, I would outright went "Fuck this! Fuck you! I'm out! Don't look for me!", changed my name and simply went to the most far far away place, trying to have a life on my terms.

The best line of the update (maybe the entire story, so far) was Kaija feeling the need to say to MC, "But I'll likely get back at you at some point because you banged my ass and then ditched me." But MC's response, "It wasn't my intention to hurt you, I'm sorry", was woefully inadequate. I would have replied something like, "Maybe I was horny, or maybe I just wanted to give you a good fucking. You know, return the favor." 
More and more the Elea arc feels like one gigantic distraction from the main story, at least, for me. MC finally gets around to telling her the truth about what's happening only to find she's mostly interested in the Templar Library and an introduction to Nimue. Oh, and don't even tell me you didn't know better than to bang her mom! Haha! Game Over!
Fiona has been true; just mostly disinterested in anything that's going on with MC. He went with her to meet her family. It was an elegant solution to all the drama back home because everybody was long dead when they got back. Heh
Dunno if there will be a LI for me in this story. I guess, at this point, it's gonna hafta be, "Help me Medb, you're my only hope!"

Well, I do think you won't be disappointed. I don't want to give you much of a spolier, so I'll just say the climax of that scene is knocking her out so much MC has to hold her tight for a while.

It was one of my favorite theories and would explain the reason to keep them in the dark without making them seem retarded or incompetent, and would be a good reason for a third party trying to reach them and for the remaining of the council trying to hide thing from them. Machiavellic at the most, but even so within the scope of reason and maybe even understandable and forgiveble. But the dev took the other way: they are uber protective and illogical in their motivations, just raw emotion. Sadly...
