Others - The Perfect Pair Shall Rise! [v1.4c] [prostochel2002]

I think the setting and overcall concept has a potential to become a 5 star game. But the realization has been abysmal so far, I just cannot find any justification for viewing random blurry gifs. There are no other options but to view highly blurred/dark shadowy gifs in this game. It has literally no content apart from 3 same dungeons, and a few blurry gifs. On top of that most buttons in menu show "WIP", and you cannot even chat with heroine. Dungeon crawling itself is boring here.

What is more if you split with fmc, on top of being barely visible and blurry image, also gets broken as a broken mirror. Making it more annoying for a player for a reason, why?
On top of being barely visible blurry, scenes do not have any text at all.

Currently this game has no strengths or positives in it to give it a high score. Three dungeons which are basically ctrl c + ctrl v, identical, with only one mob/boss enemy image different. This concept/idea is nothing new and is taken from other games, such as karryn prison/dungeon with a girl, that already made it work and are quite succesful.
This is a barebone alpha version game, that might or might not become good someday, but it has already been a year in development past initial release, so I would not bet on it, I would bet on it getting an abandoned tag.

It's still pretty early in development but looks very promising. Very solid concept with good execution so far. There's not much in the game but I'll go over some quick points.

It's looking like a sandboxy, slow corruption, ntr, with "skill issue" style gameplay where the worse you play the more corruption happens. The H-content seems like it will mostly happen alongside gameplay and will be viewable via the side screen silhouette or peeking so probably no gallery only scenes. I like the basic gameplay loop and think it works well with this setup.

The combat is enjoyable as H-content is mixed in with it pretty well. It's a similar combat system as dead end colosseum and that was a pretty fun game. It's currently pretty barebones but just this basic system is 10x better than most rpg maker combat.

The animations look good and there's already quite a lot of them in the game. The Dev seems to have some experience with it. The models aren't super stiff and have small moments like swaying and twitching.

Again it's hard to say anything concrete as most systems are still in development but I can at least say as of right now it looks like it's going in a good direction.

It's a very good game. The beautiful girl in the game. A good idea in general for the implementation of the game. In general, the development of the game is very pleasant, the developer collects feedback from the players. I'm really looking forward to new updates

I loved the game; it's simple, fun, and exciting.

Suggestions:
I'm considering that the content will be greatly expanded, so I won't focus on anything I believe will be in the game, like more spy scenes or the like.

- (Essential) Please add an item like "Cave Explorer's Goggles" or some new brightness mechanic. Monsters could even use magic that increases brightness. Seeing only shadows/outlines at first is exciting, but after a certain point, it gets repetitive. I think if there was a way to keep the brightness at a minimum of 15% and keep things happening, it would be very stimulating. It could be an option in the preferences too, but I'd find it more immersive with something like the goggles.
- Personally, I found the game too difficult. I think some leveling mechanics for the MC should be added. Or at least armor.
- Clothes and costumes you can buy for Aster. Bunny, Nurse, Sexy Witch, Goth Slut. At the salon to get her hair done, dyed, or get special makeup done "for the MC."
- More lines; after cumming, she could make comments like, "I think someone's trapped here."
- After losing a dungeon, you could have flashbacks that worsen with Aster's depravity, of her having sex with her mentor and then saying it was a nightmare.
- At high levels of depravity, Aster could have sex with monsters, perhaps after losing the dungeon, and her mentor enjoys it.
- At high levels of depravity and with a lot of money left, some of the money could disappear and Aster could appear with bigger breasts, ass, and thighs, saying it was a side effect of magic and the money was given the money to starving orphans. This is cool because it adds a new perspective to the late game.
- Perhaps there could be a mechanic for Aster's affection for the MC based on the ratio of wins to losses. Does that prevent anything? No. But it could change the dialogue and how much Aster tries to pretend/lie about the obvious or rub it in the MC's face. This would add two possible NTR types and would please many fans, without relying on difficult implementations (I think), just one variant and scripted dialogue (50% of an NTR game, as a rule, consists of dialogue, not necessarily long, but well-crafted).

I'll come back here if I have any more suggestions. I hope they're good and implementable, one way or another. You already have gold in hand. Congratulations on the idea and the project!

20/20, genre defining excellence

In the same way that NTR Legend defined it's subgenre of NTR and had a series of spin off games after it's creation, this game sets the standard for the "hidden NTR" genre like no other. There are a handful of other games with a similar hidden theme but not one of them captures the feeling of loss and corruption like this one.

The art style is exceptional, the 3d models are incredibly well designed, the build up is long but concise and reasonable, as of 1.4c the combat system is beginning to develop and features are added routinely every major update. The developer consistently provides meaningful status updates every single week and demonstrates no sign of burning out or losing interest.

Really good concept and perfect execution, dev also listening to feedback from community and adding it to the game. Gameplay is smooth and engaging with great implementation of corruption and sex scenes

I don't like the NTR content or worst something which seems sexual assault but I will try still to give a useful comment.

You have developed 2 gameplay mechanics with conflicting objectives, and both link to light:

• less light help you to corrupt the girl but the player see almost nothing because of it
• less light help you to corrupt the girl but go against the need to clear the dungeon

An obvious advice would be to remember that the player is not the hero, maybe adding a button to avoid bluring/fading effect to let the player choose the POV would be nice .

Also, I would like to recommend reducing mentor needs during fight to be able to have both corruption and almost the same power level wathever the brightness level is.

Finally, I would like to share an idea/request, why not allowing the mentor touching Aster even if the light is high?
You can imagine a first level at high brightness where the mentor touch her in front of the hero (he can allowing it for any dumb reason link to "magic"). The first level have a cap on % level of corruption.
The next level would still be at low brightness and if the corruption cap of the level (and/or descension point) is reached.
It may even allow the hero to be corrupted, to allow her to have fewer clothes during dungeon and developing their relationship in the kinky way.

Also, having in mind to do a tutorial would be cool for new players.

Time has passed since the initial release, but it's still lacking content. I tried a few runs, and it's basically the same dungeon with slimes and a fat silhouette awkwardly bumping into your girlfriend in the background. At first I liked the idea, but everything can be stuck in that 0.00001 prototype state for years.

This game is in a rough state. It has a good concept going for it but the art, game play loop and dialogue needs a lot of improvement.

1. Art (3*) - art is passable if other elements of the game are improved
2. Gameplay (3*) defiantly needs improvement. One bad aspect of gameplay is that you can easily fall into a death spiral after just one or two failed delves leaving you with no currency to succeed on future attempts. Also needs a save funtion
3. Dialogue (1*) not much there and what there is, is kind of nonsensical. It would be nice to have speech bubbles pop up on the FC screen during delves
4. UI (2*) just needs better descriptions and explanations on how things work

5 stars for the promise. One of the few games on this site that feel like they're being developed by someone that actually knows how to make a game. They're actually using the Godot engine to make a game instead of using it as yet another way to vomit out a mediocre visual novel.

Hidden NTR is also the best type of NTR. This is the best sort because you always feel like you can see what's going on if you just did X and Y instead of the scene just not existing outside of silhouettes.

Big fan, kudos to the dev.

I rate it three stars because even for a prototype, combat feels meh, sex looks interesting but there's no gallery to see what the sex actions are. And it feels like a slow burn to see them that I edited the save file.

Although I'm not a fan of NTR, I will say the concept is interesting in that you're just an adventurer trying to kill things but your mentor and your love interest are too busy trying to fuck behind your back while some slime is kicking your ass.

The sex is interesting though I'll admit to editing the save file in Notepad+ to see them and so far they are promising even if the darkness looks annoying and you have to go through a few fights to see something other than "love interest is looking at mentors dick."

As for NTR, assuming this game manages to get further in development, I can imagine NTR being minimal to non-existent if the optional goal of not losing Aster's grace stays in. Otherwise, I hope to see there's some interaction with mentor and Hero that can go in whatever direction beyond "Hero being a useless cuck while Mentor is a useless ally too busy having Aster stroke his dick while Hero needs help killing a boss slime" such as Mentor winning or losing, Hero keeping the girl, losing Aster, or even dying.

This "prototype" is like watching Michelangelo work on a 6-foot block of marble, and he just finished the statue's face - a beautiful woman's visage, impossibly captured onto stone. Based on that, there are no doubts that the body will also be of exceptional quality!

Absolute Cinema. the game holds a ridiculously good promise for the voyeurism crowd and the hidden NTR niche. The are animations both fluid and exciting combined with the actual dungeon crawling makes for an incredible experience even in this bare bones version.

-Maybe monsters from dungeon should also ntr healer...
-Some ntr scenes after dying(?) with the black screen and all...

Well, I just hope that it won't be a game where there is 1 female character, who is being ntred by everyone... Please add some other girls

Add some kind of Gallery, to see h-scenes.

Man, this game has such insane potential.
One of my favorite aspects so far is the view of your partner on the side, and it is essential to the gameplay. While the actual mechanics of combat aren't entirely clear yet (there are no tutorials or hints), the torch mechanic is clear - in the dark, the "Mentor" character will mess with your partner. This simple idea is one of my favorite things in NTR games.

I am giving this full marks because this project NEEDS to be seen through to completion, truly an artisan is behind this work.

I would love to rate this project once it is finished, because I know it would be a game worth talking about. That being said lemme throw my two-cents into the mix but take everything i say with a grain of sand im just some goof on the web.

GAMEPLAY (5-6/10)

okay the gameplay is a little shallow, the concept for the attack mechanic is interesting, it just needs a little polish, idk what exactly, for a hot minute i couldnt even tell that the bottom little attack square is showing what actions you will be doing in succession, so maybe something where what you are doing next is more telegraphed and explained? idk

The cave generation is interesting, I don't know if i totally like the idea that you just generate a new one at will, maybe with some story flair it could be more realised.

I have never seen hcg incorporated into gameplay this interestingly since KP. Shits cash. And animated? Jesus. I can already tell this could be a 5/5 based off the art idea alone.

so yeah in summary please continue to work on this one I would love to support this one once its finished

Review as of 1.3b:

Good:
- The premise is there.
- Animations that are there are good.
- Mechanics are fairly thought out
- Expectations set with labeling as a prototype.

Bad:
- It's a prototype, so obvious lack of meaningful content.

Ugly:
- Buttons that do nothing (unless for some reason I couldn't enable the blacsksmith or w/e.
- Grind is fairly steep to get gold and difficulty scaling is all over the place. Hopefully will be dialed back as game (hopefully) develops.
- Not able to use potions during combat.

So far so good, but don't be fooled, it's labeled "prototype" for a reason.
I like the dark ominous tone of this, + cheeky behavior of the LI.
Leading to a great NTR scenario... now all we need is waaay more scenes and I'm happy

Good mechanic. Perfect 3d art animation. Awersome potential. What else you want ?! Corruption ntr. I like this game so much and author this game open for the idea and questions. even though this game is a prototype, it has already gathered a small fan base of both regular Normies and players as well as developers. It will be interesting to see what happens next. but for now I will give it 5 stars in advance.
