MTL aside since it's from the devs' side, censorship is a must if you want to release something R-18 to Japan.

It may sounds weird to you but uncensored Erotic works in Japan could lead up to 10 years in prison. No one would risk that for a mere uncensored pictures. Some artists usually went as far as creating international version if they really-really want to make an uncensored version, but it must be hardly accessible to the Japanese people.

It's Japanese game, it's censored by default by the developer, what are you on about. As for the MTL, it's a short-form nukige, very low budget, not like actual translation makes the experience much better.

When a Japanese game dev creates an uncesored game, or even one that can be easily uncensored via deleting overlays, they're walking a very thin line. It isn't just slap on the wrist and little fine to create uncensored porn in Japan. It's downright jailtime if convicted levels of criminal. So either get over yourself about it, or stop complaining about games you're not going to play.
