We at version 0.5 and still have 0 sex scenes, 0 romance, but instead we got unskippable non-erotic humiliation from tsundere Colette. I hope this game won’t continue the exactly same way like it is now. Or its supposed to be purely softcore story?
Can't speak for them but I personally thought that game would be less linear than it is now. Or at least had an option to skip some scenes/characters.

I'd say there's a steady buildup between MC and Simone, particularly if they share the bed, and there's flirting between MC and other ROs. It can be pretty subtle though (like Elodie altering her letters depending on whether the one you send her is romantic).

Don't know what author planning and hope game will be finished, but I would love it to have two specific endings:
First, MC returning his male body, and second, becoming evil queen, usurping the throne and becoming the ruler sunken in sexual debauchery.
Also would like to have a route where MC gets too interested in body modifications. When receiving access to choose transformations himself, MC can get a warning that these potions are toxic and have addictive properties.
If MC will use them too often, he'll start feeling THE NEED to use them, with his body becoming more and more feminine, sexual and later simply absurdly whorish.
