HTML - The Princess Trap [v0.6.1] [Natnatnat]

This is barely a 1/5 porn game. But it's also a 7/5 visual novel with the best writing on this site. The writing is too good. It's perfectly punctuated. Perfect grammar. I remember one missed-word typo. I consider myself to have good vocabulary and I had to look up words. The writing in this could easily make my top 5 legit novels that I've read in my life...

All that said, it was soo good that I got mad when it ended suddenly on day 9 or so... I'm invested in this and it just ends. I accept that when I come to spank but I really got into this and it hurts to end on this cliffhanger.

There is strong feminizing in this... it's done really well. But beyond that, due to the slow burn nature of the story (which is great) and all the political intrigue of the plot, the sexual content in this just isn't there yet. Far from it. So again... not really a good porn game.

But if you can handle waiting for conclusion... the writing doesn't get better. No hyperbole.

So amazing I loved it almost everything about it, I did not like the puzzles with collette in the fortress city, but other than that I loved it! Really hoping there is a way to keep my "bits" intact at least the lower ones!

I loved the writing! A lot of effort put into it and a lot of fun to play. It's a bit slow on the erotic aspects and is more concerned with the feminization if you're impatient. But for the patient, it's a great world with funny memorable characters and a nice unravelling plot

This might be the best writing I've ever seen in one of these games. There's some scenes where you genuinely fear for the lives of certain characters, making you realise how quickly you've become attached to them (Elodie my beloved). The characters are never flat, always ready to hint at a different side to themselves, and the overarching plot is full of intrigue. A must play.

Excellent writing throughout and interesting scenes and dynamics, really nice speed on the corruption aspects with tantalizing teasers sprinkled along the different minigames. Reactions of the other characters to your choices are well-crafted and often blush-inducing .

You've got multiple layers going - the overall storyline - the inter-character dynamics - and the MCs own transformation - and each one interweaves nicely with the other with callbacks, references, and options based on your different choices.

This more feels like I am reading a really good story, and I'm on my toes for the next chapter - not because I want to add more action with character X - but more so to see what will happen with the storyline surrounding the main character!

Very engaging. The subtle, one off ways the story would be impacted by prior decisions was greatly enjoyable, and made it feel very personalized. The extra effort to make the letters feel authentic by including the paper and handwriting font also was very cute. One criticism: it'd be nice to have a couple more images of the characters as well as the pornographic sections, would go a long way.

This game is a fantastic slow burn text based sissification game. Similar to you throw like a girl and cursed.

The story is well thought out and when playing you can shape how quickly you transform / what things to priorize and change.

The problem is that there's quite a small amount of lewd content currently. With a lot of story.

I love a slow burn but were definitely getting to the point in the story where we should start seeing more lewd content.

It has 5/5 potential but right now I have to dock a point because of the lack of sex content.

Amazing game with very in-depth content. It is the pinnacle of what an HTML game should be, with multiple mechanics that are all actually used, dialogue that changes based on your stats, your previous decisions, your characterization, and your background.

It's truly amazing in that way, the attention to detail is insane. A lot of other HTML games have a similar if not higher level of customization, but then once the game starts all that customization is thrown out of the window and never mentioned again. Not this game. Virtually all of the customization used and drawn on constantly, like multiples times a day.

On top of that, the optional actions you took on a day synergize with the mandatory events of said day as well. For example, if you did a performance (optional non-linear event) early that day, in the mandatory event later that day the dialogue will mention a part of the event being similar to that performance. I'll say it again, the attention to detail is insane.

It hurts to give this only 3 stars, as a story its pretty engaging and I do want to see what happens next. But there is practically 0 lewd content, I went through a playthrough of the current content and there were 2 or 3 slightly lewd scenes, that's it.

Hopefully future content addresses this.

This game had come up on my radar a couple of times in the past, but I avoided it for different reasons. My loss as it happens.

There are two types of stories—one that keeps you interested and one that doesn't. This game's story is of the former type. I'm not exactly sure what makes this story work—it has good characters, intrigue, and a lighthearted setting, but above all, the author just knows his craft, I guess. He knows how to keep readers interested in going forward and wanting more.

I'm normally a "game mechanics first" kind of player. So I had never expected I would be slapping a solid 5 stars on a game that does not prioritize them above all, but this game, it's just that good.

Game has a special sauce to it. It's hard to describe what makes one twine game better than another. This one just feels solid. The story is interesting, the characters are well-written and the pacing is enjoyable. Not too fast, not too slow.

I must admit i normally dont read or play games that involve sissification or such, but the good reviews about the story had me give it a try. And what can i say i had a tremendous time with the story and the lore. Absolut peak writing that makes you question who to trust and who might all be part of the conspiracy.

So for the lewds i would give this game a shrug since its not my cup of tea.
But damn the story is catching, will definitely come back to this on a later time!

I started by skimming through the text, but as time went on, I was reading more closely and growing invested in the story and characters. Very well written, definitely worth a shot if you enjoy reading

This is a level of craft which I never expected to find on this site of all places.

Its a feminization game, make no doubt about it, but unlike other games which all seemingly blend together after a while, this one manages to stand out from the rest thanks to its superb writing and premise.

Taking place in a fantasy world, putting you in the position of princess, surrounded by a unraveling plot that draws you in deeper and deeper, not to mention the assortment of characters that you will meet. All of it, is written incredibly well, dare I say this is possibly one of the most well written HTML games on this site, perhaps the best.

As it stands on version 0.5.1, the game is seemingly far from complete, but what it currently holds has already both satisfied me and left me wanting even more. For now, the game is a little linear, more like a CYOA game rather than full sandbox, but this honestly helps play into its incredible writing more. Even with this "limitation" the choices available are all satisfactory. The characters are quite diverse in personality and all are interesting to boot, its incredible how such a relatively short game has already made me love characters I just barely met.

In terms of sexual content, the game is rather light, with more teasing and foreplay type stuff being the brunt of it. Even then, the game itself holds well enough that you will barely even notice the fact your supposed to be playing an adult game.

Overall, whats available already is a incredible piece of writing that I can not wait to see more of. Updates seem to be rather infrequent though it should be noted that progress was halted in 2024 due to the author's health. Nonetheless, as I write this, a new update will be publicly releasing by the end of the week and I am looking incredibly forward to it. I only hope the author finishes this to the end and that this game doesn't end in limbo like so many others because its genuinely that good.

Good story, interesting characters, just don't think too hard about the world as I have no idea what bizarre tech tree this world followed. Especially with how magic is very limited and dismissed as superstition.

So far, v0.6,is a CYOA style story, you can resist, just try to blend in, or embrace the feminization. Their are a good few stats behind the scenes but I'm not sure how much impact the have on the story as of yet. But it does mean your personality is being built for future use.

The game is almost all text based and very little sexual content as far as I saw. So if you want a decent read with some choice and consequence you could do a lot worse.

Also the 'back' option that some HTML games have is in this so you can read a few pages forward then go back if it goes off from how you expected your character react (example "I used to read in my spare time" leads to putting on makeup).
I'm guessing these 'choices' that don't make sense are due to the influence of a magic potion you cannot avoid taking early on, but sometimes it is a little jarring.

Great story with fantastic writing, probably the best I've ever come across on this site. A diverse cast of characters and a wide range of choices to develop the player character, that quickly immerse you into the world. I literally can't wait for more, this games deserves to get all the love and support in the world.

Nice stat-base CYOA that actually has a story with depth and a strong feminization element. Pretty rare if you ask me. The story is not long even after 2 years of initial release since 2023 but what is there is solid and good read. It is a game which you should try out even if you are not into feminization.

Best Thing I've come across this year on this site. At first it appears pretty bleak compared to what other projects of this genre looks like, but the authenticity and writing of the story is what made me realize why its so special. Despite being a transformation based game, it has quite good insight of the gender differences and how the MC gradually comes to term with their situation, all in all its quite heartwarming to see them develop relations, learn their way into this new world. And as to why I like it so much because its not tacky, overly promiscuous, and excellent pacing(of course the story that is, not talking about the transformation).

The best HTML game by far. Great writing and characters that you care about. The feminization pacing is good though, a bit slowish but it's a text story based game so nothing stupid to grind. Always feel like you're moving the story forward and not just doing pointless tasks and repeating the day like so many other html games. Only thing I fear is that this game is too good to be true and it'll fall apart at the end lol. Hopefully the dev can keep up the quality and finish the game with a satisfying ending to the routes.
