VN - Ren'Py - The Ruined Bloom [v0.3.1] [CungDuts]

first and foremost, my review only covers the romance route of the game.
i dont care about the ntr route and never will. that said:
the game has a healthy balance between quarky and cute. in a sea of horny "tenents" that are perving after their female "roommates", it´s refrasing to see the sister beeing the one that takes the initate in this one.
overall the chars look destinquisable enough. mMC seems rather "down to the ground" for a NSFW VN protag, it helps to make the family dinamic feel more alive. and with this bombshell of a mom.. who knows what can happen


this game gets a lot of flak couse of stuff happening within the ntr route. and yes, having played it, i hate it:
it it INSANLY dark, like ultra depressing even for ntr standarts. you have the super can-not-do-wrong more rich then god bull that instandly gets ever girl he wants, mc cant do anything about it and so on.. utter digusting rubbish

but im judging only the i**cest route here, and there my only complain is that it should cook a bit longer. like have mc a bit more moral struggle before he goes along with his (admitidly very cute) somewhat possesive sisters antigs..

Update for 0.3.1:

Ok, so it seems there's going to be 2 distinct paths now afterall. Looking past the controversy of 0.3.0, I think that the NTR path is on the right track. It is unique in the sense that it starts off very intense and dark, which makes it quite unique. It certainly has the potential to be great as the writing for the characters is strong and the relationship between the FP and her best friend quite interesting.
I hope, the direction of the game will be consistent going forward. There's a lot to like.

1st reviewer was spot on lmao. Everything unique about this is getting cut, and will be added back in in a theoretical future patch/separate game. I do not think this is worth playing anymore, but i really do hope the dev surprises.

The best joke is that the dev has Patreon and creates an incest and rape game. Why do I mention that? Chances are high he get banned and the game will be abandoned.
I am not an incest fan but since the game is pretty short I played the NTR and the incest route.

A lot of boring dialogues with a lot of inconsistency. I highly suspect the use of Ai in here. The main focus points are the NTR and incest route.
The incest route is way to fast. Your sister notice you getting a blowjob from her friend and then she want's to do the same and more. The build up to that is a flashback scene 10 years ago. I don't feel that there is a real connection beside the typical Anime "trying to be cute oni-chan saying behavior" that the dev is shoving up our face. But maybe that works for some people.
But what's even worse is the NTR route. First of all it's not NTR if you are not in a relationship with your sister. So it would have been better - since you are dreaming in the beginning about fucking your sister anyway to take more time creating a better incest start and from there developing a NTR route next to the incest one. But instead.. and I shit you not!.. you and your sister getting drugged by HER FRIEND so some asshole can rape your sister. And even that is terrible implemented. After you get drugged you wake up seeing your sister getting raped standing at the wall. In the flashback of the sister she is laying down on the couch the whole time. So even that two short scenes are not even consistent. Was this game developed with two closed eyes? The ending is even worse than the whole game until that point. Because she got raped she turns into someone that get's fucked by two guys while crying looking at her brother. The game is just on version 0.2.5 and already needs a whole rework.

Conclusion:

It's too early to give a final review since this is v0.2, but from what I have seen and played, this could be one of the best NTR/incest games on this website. If you like those both tags, I highly recommend you play this game.
