I enjoyed this game (0.4.0) enough to give a review to help balance out some of the negative-ish reviews.
Basically it has nice quality renders, good writing, and is bug-free - at least I encountered no bugs. Based on that alone it would be nice for the game to keep going.
I'm not a big fan of using Unity for this type of visual novel, but as implemented here it works ok. I personally prefer Ren'Py but then this review is about this game, not my engine preferences
I wish that saving the game would save your progress at the exact point in the game where you invoked "save" instead of reverting to closest previous checkpoint. However, the save system in the game isn't too horrible and I was able to tolerate it. It didn't take away too much from the game.
The writing needs a heavy dose of quality proofreading to fix typo and grammar issues but again for me the writing and visual appearance mitigated the poor spelling and grammar.
