Like others said, this is the author's first game, so some lack of polish can be excused, however the unsatisfactory gameplay and scenes just couldn't be excused.
While the VN aspect isn't as bad, it's preferable that they add a checkpoint of some kind when you go back to the start of the day once you lose all your trust. And speaking of checkpoint, there's no save, no quick start (aside from skipping the 2 or 3 dialogue box long intro that is) so if you somehow want to see a scene from one day or to replay the ending? Play the game again, stupid.
Granted, the game isn't that long, and you can skip the dialogues with ESC, but it's still pretty dang annoying.
When you got to the main point of the game, using the staff to mind control the shopkeep... it's fucking Simon Says. There's not much challenge to it, it's just infuriating and sluggish to progress just for teasing actions like strip and pose ridiculously.
But I gotta give some praise to the game's animation since it's at least decent and give you motivation to progress since the shopkeep's model isn't bad either, if a bit random with the bunny ears and generic looking.
Except for the ending.
It's supposedly the real meat of the game with a vaginal sex scene, yet all 4 scenes you get have fucked-up camera angle and penis in the shadow. Maybe the author isn't good at animating penis going into the vagina, or maybe the "penis" is just a dildo judging by the model's lumps. But to be honest I don't give a shit, just show me what you've got instead of hiding everything like a fucking pussy, this is more blueballing than those out-of-frame manga sex scene for all the Simon Says I have played in over 10 minutes.
All and all, not bad for author's prototype game, even if it took a year to finish. But from a consumer's prospective, I don't recommend this game.
It might be a bit much to ask for an one man team, I can only hope that High On Neko would give us a sizeable amount of content and proper vaginal animation the next time we see of him.
