RPGM - Completed - The Siren's Song [v1.21] [maiie]

One of the best games of the genre, a lot of fetishism but not so deep. You always end up using the fountain or you end up blocking ALL THE PATHS, a true disaster, otherwise the game is very good, highly recommended.

Like someone was saying below, I think this game is overrated. It's a nice little game but nothing special.

For Example: why RPGM? You are running around with absolutley no purpose. Maybe a VN game style would be better.

The Story and the main characters are okay but all others are kinda...meh? (husbands = nutjobs, wifes = whore and abused woman, daughter of owner = psycho)

One of the best NTR games on the site. No grinding for long periods of time without scenes like other RPGM games. Just choices and scenes.

Being able to choose which characters the protagonists interact with is a very big pro for this game. Want to turn the Male MC gay? You can do that but you don't have to. Want to turn the female MC gay? You can do that too.

Can't wait to see what this developer does next and I hope it is in a very similar vein because they did great with this genre of Netorase/NTR stuff.

I generally quite liked the game. I would love to see more, maybe more of these characters if the dev wants to as well. I can tell the dev liked baudy traditions, but I cannot complain since its a pretty good game itself

Pros:
-Unlike a lot of NTR games, both members of the couple get a lot of screen time. The Husband gets some (optional, like everything) yaoi scenes which while not a huge fan of yaoi personally, it feels refreshing to see a Koikatsu ntr game shake it up with the content on display.
-Not a whole lot of grindy systems or leveling corruption by getting gropped again and again. There is a bit (see below) but nothing that bad.
Scenes are well done in the engine and to my suprise, animated. Again, you don't see this a lot so it is nice to see.Cum shots are a bit off (I think its just sweat particle effects applied iirc) but thats just the limit of the koikatsu engine

Cons:
-Sometimes the writing feels odd. Like, a character decided to use "Poop" as an explitive, which felt weird and at risk of sounding full of it- juvinile. Scenes are written for the most part fine but sometimes you get this akward moment and it becomes noticable.
-While Baudy Traditions is not a bad place to look for inspiration,it leads to some kinda annoying backtracking to go changeto watch a scene you've already watched because you need that corruption to go up. Also, scenes are not skippable if you've seen them before, which makes repeat playthroughs for the multiple endings a bit of a slog
-Characters feel kinda undercooked, like I know plot is not needed in porn and all but I think if the dev decided to spice up the npcs beyond the standard trope it would stand out more and be more exciting to read. Plus, it feels like we barely meet some of the cast by the time you're done regardless of corruption

When my main complaint is wanting more . I think that means the game is overal doing good. I hope the dev can make more in the future !

Had good experience playing through this game overall.

Story setup is great, and the whole business trip idea is easy to get into. It makes the characters' motivations clear and believable. We don't get much background on the characters, just the surface, but ended up not needing them (Its how you make decisions for them shape the characters).

I went into this game anticipating NTR and was not disappointed. I like slow-burn NTR that chips away morals, and this game does that well.

Personally not a fan of homosexual/futa stuff but this game lets you avoid them. And even though I was reserved at first, I tried one scene with Kora's futa and ended up enjoying it.

In terms of scenes, there is good variety but I would've preferred more quantity. I played with innocent Luca and corrupted Kora whenever it's her turn, but by the end of it, I still didn't get to see the extreme end of her corruption. It just never gets there. Despite Kora wanting to lose all of her self-control, there weren't more scenes spiraling down to that. Feels like the game abruptly ends after the last day when it's getting to the good part. I wanted more scenes with random tourists and more depraved sex.

There is a problem with triggering events that makes the game a hassle to play. I had a tough time getting them because you need to wear the right clothes and be at the right map to see where the events trigger. The game only has a "cheat" statue telling you where to go when you approach it. But, it would've been more helpful if I have access to all that info at all times as a quest menu. Could've added flavor to it by making it a diary, describing what the character wants to do that day i.e. I want to check out the pool.

The game needs an events recollection system somewhere so I can easily revisit the events, rather than making me do the roundabout-way and worry about making saves right before sex scenes just to keep them accessible in the future.

Sorry for spoiling the party but I think this game is largely overrated, I played it until the end because of how many stars it had but I did not like it at all.

It revolves around improving the image of an hotel that has a bad reputation and avoiding corruption through very obvious choices for both characters. I fixed the hotel, and avoided corruption very easily.

The art is rather poor (as you can tell from the pictures), and it is essentially a classic RPG maker game with a very small map, no combat, and not much to do overall. It becomes repetitive and boring pretty quickly.

The story is not too badly written I guess, but I don't play these games for the story, I usually get bored and skip dialogs unless they are great.

Giving it 4 stars overall. One thing I want to note straight away is that even if it only says that "gay" is a planned tag there is some content in there already but seems to be available with your choices for the most part.
The game controls well, there is a "hint spot" which helps you narrow down how to get scenes for the day (or consider using a guide for ease of use).
Every scene is nicely included within the storyline which is definitely nice. Wish there were more scenes with some of the characters.
The game has multiple endings depending on how you play it out so that can be interesting if you'd like to try different approaches.
Overall it's a nicely done corruption game.

A short, solid RPGM corruption game. The interesting twist here is that you have both members of a loving couple as MCs, and you can choose who to corrupt and to what extent. However, a couple things could have been better:

- Sometimes you are forced into choices without realizing it, eg. if you choose to go to scenes in a particular order it can cut you out of different scenes. The good thing is that I'm not sure if these choices have any impact, but there should still be some advance warning.

- The choices you make in the game don't map cleanly to the endings. Each character kinda has their own storyline (although for some reason I think the pink haired girl's must not be complete given she has no endgame scenes), but if you don't turn any of them down... well, I got the "happy couple ending" but I'm not sure why? Also I do feel like there should be a full "swingers ending" somewhere but as far as I can tell there isn't.

These are ultimately minor complaints though, the game is still a nice way to kill an hour or so.

Has some hard-to-find themes that I absolutely love. Be sure to keep multiple save files, as some in-game decisions lock you out of future content, and there's no easy way to re-try other than starting again.

Remind me Bawdy's traditions and its good. Very like smooth corruption in this game. Even in the end there are some routes.

Great storytelling in an alright game.

If you enjoy the experience of guiding a loving husband and wife into a world of debauchery, this game is for you. It has optional heterosexual and homosexual content for both characters, a strong corruption plot line, a fun little setting that opens up the opportunity for many classic hijinks and tropical tropes. More importantly, the author is very talented at both writing sex scenes and implementing that writing into a video game. Overall, the story is great--when you can find it.

The one thing that makes me take a star off this game is how incredibly hard it forces you to work to find the story. On my first playthrough, I thought this game was just very incomplete; it wasn't until I checked some of the comments in this forum and realized that I'd missed probably 50% of the content. On my secondplay through, I was STILL missing scenes. It wasn't until I did a third playthrough and forced myself to accept every corruption event that I found the events I was looking for.

The reason is that this game uses two gating mechanics.

- Nearly every sex scene has a storyline requirement: if you didn't watch the Day 2 scene with Nina, the Day 3 scene with her won't show up, which means the next day's won't, etc. The reasoning makes sense--as a game telling a story where certain events happen on certain days, the continuity would make no sense if you were allowed to skip a day--but it still means you need to go through the entire map essentially three times every day with all of the outfits to avoid being hardlocked out of the storyline you want.

- Some scenes have corruption requirements. While corruption is fairly easy to get, especially for the wife, it still results in some scenes where your character triggers an automatic rejection, which results in negative corruption, which basically means you need to restart or else you'll be locked out of even more content.

Overall, the game frustratingly requires either a walkthrough or a very patient gamer to see all of its content, but oh man, it's worth it when you find it.

This is an excellent game. I am looking forward to the end result.
The only thing I would like to see is the corruption levels for the husband and wife. The game tells us when we get the points but we can't see the total points collected. Otherwise why tell us how many points we get for each action.

Really enjoying this game. Particularly the mixed of straight and teased gay content. Well paced with enough h-scenes and dialogue that is not overdone. looking forward to seeing some scenes with Quinn in the future.

Great start for the game. It's only 4 in game days long I believe but there is quite a bit of content. If updates can cover a day in game each it would be very great. The futa content is also great.

If this game will be continuted properly it has a lot of potential.

One of the best nor games here, good plot, dialogs are good too. Quest system is understandable without unnecessary grinding. I love the whole game balance of walking, reading, watching scenes. When you play both wife and husband separately, but in the same in game time, especially when you can peek on the wife when you playing as husband. Really awesome feature.

For a simpler and easier game to play, this has a lot of potential I feel like if you're not looking for anything too involved. One of the aspects I also liked is you really aren't forced into anything you don't want, like you can go full corruption path, full non-corruption path, only 1 of the 2 characters corrupt, and in between. Although I haven't tested all routes or any in-between, I like that you have that control and choice and aren't forced into anything (at least as of this first release). Although it's a rpgm, it completely lacks that grind (like any fighting monsters and such), more so, you simply need to find events to see them. Some events may corrupt the person you control, some may boost your goal, some lose corruption, some corrupt both partners, and many times, you'll get choices that determine that within the event. You can also willingly chose to skip events, and just move onto the next event. As of v0.42, content is limited and ends at day 3 I think, but again, I feel this has so much potential to end up as one of my favorites, think it's going a fantastic direction so far, and hope it can be continued!
