To be fair, The Last Sovereign pulls off philosophical discussions to amazing effect. It honestly plays less like a porn game than like an RPG with sex as an underlying theme.

So having played it I'm pretty sure the game's script is AI generated too. I could forgive AI art if the dev has a good game or story they want to tell, but this nonsensical bullshit ain't either
Yep looked at the text and was like this is as bad as fucking MTL... If going to load AI shit mark it as fucking AI shit.
Honestly I use AI in my artistic workflow in my career, but using raw AI generation just feels cringe. It has a place within art, but it needs artistic skill to make it into something that is more than its initial output. Otherwise its just janky.

Using AI art is already lazy, but how fucking lazy do you have to be to look at this awful shit the computer made for you and go "eh, I don't feel like clicking the generate button anymore, this is good enough to publish."

I can imagine. I haven't played the last sovereign, but Sierra lee is a great writer, that's for sure. Pretty much, most of the big japanese hentai novels exposing important subjects that you can think about. They are like regular works, but only with the climax of a romantic relationship in the form of sex between lovers (Not necessary only between lovers, but you got my idea), for example.
So, yeah, I was just ironize. But unfortunately this game, not trying to give you straight answers. The narrative is jagged, and the main character is in a state of delirium.
I don't want to badmouth the game too much, maybe I just didn't understand it (I mean, it happens, right?), but personally I didn't understand what it was about at all.
And there were no guro or any disturbing fetishes so far, if anyone wondering about it.

100% AI generated, will never recommend or support.
"Save and exit" saves the current scene/dialog, but not the text in dialog where you left off.
"Continue" loads the save if the game has just launched.
