VN - Ren'Py - Completed - The Thickening [v0.5] [Aikiriu]

I was intrigued and hyped about this game but got let down early on. The good sex scenes don't come for a while and you gotta listen through a ton of mindless dialogue.

Pros:

• Renders and scenes are decent

Cons:

• Wayyyyyyyy too much talking
• The plot is so incoherent my brain was shutting off halfway through
• No audio
• No animations
• The growth factor is outrageous. Like man i don't know it may scratch someone's fetish but this is way too much for me.

Conclusion:
Skip this. End of story

It's hard to cope with the character's appearance in this VN. The disproportional sizes make everything too weird. Take for example Inner Growth, in that game everything is on its limit for a futa and under control, but in this one, things are out of control and distorted, the characters are simply ugly with their grotesque sizes.

The plot makes sense and is nice, but the writing fails to deliver it.
The few in-game choices are merely for decorative purposes to try to avoid the game being tagged as a kinetic novel.

Honestly, I have next to no clue why this game has a review this high. Sure, some of the sex scenes are fun, but the writing is pretty garbage and visually it can be iffy. The only reason to try this AVN is because of the limited futa content on here, that's really it.

This one is more like kinetic novel since we get 3 or 4 choices and they actually don't impact story at all (just adds/changes few short scenes). Other than that I actually don't know how to describe this game. Let's just say it's focused on oversized dickgirls fucking all the time.

PROS:
+ Bunch of cute girls/dickgirls in sexy situations. Well if you can skip absurdly oversized body parts they are actually nice and hot. And that's the only reason to play this game - checking up whole bunch of pictures.

CONS:
- Story and dialogues are terrible. And I don't mean that they have spelling errors no that's not the case. Instead they are complete mess and chaos. I totally have no idea what's happening there. We have some high-fantasy story with some kind of post-apocalyptic female only world. We also have bunch of some futa goddesses who play their schemes and I totally don't get what they actually up to and what was the point of main plot. And finally we have our protagonist who gets her pussy magically morphed into a dick larger than her arm so she can go with her quest of repopulating the world... But! Instead she goes around randomly babbling something, getting kidnapped or teleported all the time, meeting bunch of totally random characters and of course she is also busy with cumming on every occasion. Dialogues are dry, rushed and chaotic. Characters have no personality and we don't even know who 80% of them are and what are their goals and why they are even in this story. Reading all of this was very tiring.
- No audio and no animations.

Honestly I have no idea why futa games can't be normal. Like there are out there so many VNs, sandboxes and other game types where female/male MC can have some full of adventures but at the same time normal life (even if it's fantasy/sci-fi version of normal life), some common problems and struggles, and be part of some interesting plot while having sex all the time as cherry on top. But not with futa MC. Nah. No sir not going to happen. When futa kicks in MC has to have dick bigger than her whole arm and have to be completely brain-dead slut surrounded by other brain-dead sluts (usually with similar dicks) who walks around half-naked and starts from fucking whey they see each other instead of even saying proper hello.
I mean this is so interesting backbone for any classic/modern/science fantasy story. Female protag who thanks to some crazy/magical/whatevah event gets some normally sized dick instead of pussy (or keeps them both) and has to adapt to her new life style. But nooo.... Her dick must be baseball bat sized and stick out from her clothes so every person she meets can grab it and start fucking just like that. Why?

So yeah. If you are into futa/shemales/dickgirls or into oversized body parts you can play this to check some nice pictures. Otherwise I can't recommend it.

one of my favorite games of all time was there every update the game had hope the dev works on something again i would definitely support the dev again, wish there were more devs and games like this one.

Amazingly hot game. Love the futas and the premise, and the settings too.
Also the renders were very clean and nice. All in all a fun experience.

The Thickening [v0.5] [Aikiriu] was a fun experience that was a massive mess of a story with very detailed renders that were quite great. The game was fun, ending in chapter 1 and now being abandoned as usual when it comes to trans/futa games. I’d recommend it understanding it’s short and won’t be continued again.

Plot doesn't take itself seriously but is also not too ridiculous. There's also lots of sprinkled humor but the not all the jokes hit their target.

Renders are very hot however the lack of animations makes me sad.

Quality models and especially great attention paid to having good outfits and bulges for the MC. Story is definitely a bit out there but mostly everything feels like it fits. The biggest problem is that it is over too soon and abandoned.

The renders are great. The story is still a bit vague, but I liked it so would definitely like to see more to see how it will progress further.

For one of the few pure Futa games, I would definitely recommend this.

This is a very good Futanari story. The renders are excellent. The elements to the story are engaging. This serves as an intriguing prolog to a possibly amazing game. I look forward to more from this creator's universe and from this creator. Well done!

Really sad that there are no good futa protag games. This game had a really good start. Thicc women, a beautiful mom, and a setup for a "last man on earth" scenario but with a futa protag instead. Then after a few updates, it just transformed into a futa on futa orgy fest in different dimensions, and the incest tag removed. Really a big shame including slow small updates. Could have been great. Oh well

Keeping proportion is key to get good models on your lewd games. Yeah, some games exaggerate and make things really big, but the important thing is to keep proportion, even when you exaggerate. Here, it's just bizarre.

I like it, this is right up my alley.

The renders are great, and the girls are all super hot. I do like myself a good big-boobed futa, so yeah, bring it on. Give her a bit of a sixpack as well, and I'm sold. I'm sort of iffy on these few girls in here that have a huge butt but no tits to speak of, but whatever, I can roll with it.
I feel like the title or description of the game should make it clearer that this thing is more about futa girls than it is about thick girls. I feel like at least half the girls are futa but not all of them are thick. So that was a bit unexpected but it works for me.

The storytelling is a bit of a mess, and it's sort of weird that the MC isn't freaking out more about all the weird things that are happening to her. When she's being imprisoned and used as a sex slave a few days after some goddesses gave her an enormous dick, she's more like "oh man, this sucks but whatever, I get to fuck a lot". So that's kind of surreal.

But all in all, this is a fun, hot romp and I'm definitely up for more, well done.

Nice scenes but the story is a mess, and the MC apparently has no agency? The only person who appears to know less and has less agency than her is her GF, but she still looks to treated nicer.
At this point I just feel bad for everyone involved, aside from the stuff with the GFs, feels like dub-con at best.

Ok, I'll start by saying I like the idea of the story behind this game. But man does it need to pump the breaks. It all feels rushed and there is no time for the reader to take a breath before something else happens. You don't get a chance to wrap you head around the universe of the story before the big dick grows, then you go straight into the sibling rivalry, then to the bigh house with the pool, then kidnapped, and it just keeps on going.

It honestly doesn't even feel like a story, just a bunch of plot points thrown together in a linear fashion. I'm playing through it and I'm like geez, slow the fuck down. Let this plot point settle for a minute before jumping into the next one.

And then I don't know if the writer is just allergic to exposition or something, but this story explains nothing to the MC or the reader. And it even points that out at one point when the MC is just as confused as to what the hell is going on as the reader is. I get people like show, don't tell. But at some point it just feels like MC is being thrown around like a rag doll, figuratively speaking, and it gives me a freaking headache.

Not to mention half of the time the text is hard to read due to it being white and the text box being nearly nonexistant to the point where the text is sometimes the same color as the backgrounds. Sorry, but did the dev even play test any of this? how could they not notice?

Don't get me wrong I'm still giving this game four stars, but the story and text is like two stars and the only thing that makes up for it is the visuals and genre. I also don't like that the reader is railroaded into being "claimed" by the devilish sister. I mean why the hell didn't Aiki claim MC when she made her? "She even says, oh don't worry about my sister, she won't be a problem" Well guess what bitch, you were wrong, and then you blame me for it? You didn't tell us shit other than, "Here's a dick, have fun." I mean seriously?! It would have been better if MC actually had the choice, or her choices prior set her on the path of one or the other, and then who ever MC didn't go with is the one who would change MC's girlfriend.

I get that I sound like I'm bitching, maybe I am, but I'm not trying to. I am just trying to give honest feedback to the dev, and at the same time review the game so that other who are interested know exactly what they are getting into. Which come to say, unless you really like futa and dick girls, I don't recommend this game.

I love thick bitches, most games and VN just give women big tits and ignore a fat ass to match, but The Thickening does it right. The models are good, though I do think the hyper dicks are over done, not ever character needs a huge dick, it ruins effect and point of having one(although I guess it makes sense in the story. )The story is alright, a little interesting but nothing crazy good.
On the negative side, there no animations
and I like a little more freedom in a VN than clicking next over and over.
But if you really like futa this is the game.

Well, that was surprisingly hot game, i really enjoyed it and thought i would only like it a little to be honest. Overly thick girls and breasts that are over the top large dont usually do that much for me. I just wish some of the women would have a bit of pubic hair.
