Thank you for reporting the bug, I will try to fix it for the next version. I also found another bug that says you have already picked up the sandwiches the first time you try to take them.

There is no casino, but you must be confusing it with the cinema. There was supposed to be a restaurant as well, each with characters to work inside, but there were already a lot of NPCs.

There are different jobs that allow you to earn money, and the more you do them, the more you increase a skill that helps you earn even more money. Otherwise, you can also grow vegetables at Daniels' farm and sell them (or make bread with the wheat to sell as well).
