VN - Ren'Py - The Wishes [v0.6] [CapR]

This thread is 100% being positive review bombed. All the 5 star review make no sense. Most decisions are very 1 dimensional which by itself would not be a problem if the story was any good. The story is very simple and predictable. The grammar is bad and made me stop reading halfway through the game. The CG are probably plagiarized Sims animations and the composition/angles used in regular scenes make no sense. I understand that is a limitation of using Sims as your rendering engine but it gets tiring after a while. If this game was not being review bombed with fake reviews I would consider giving this game 2 or 3 stars at best but as it stands this game deserves 0 stars.

I genuinely don’t understand the high ratings. Either I played a completely different game, or the bar is now buried six feet underground. This thing is bad. If I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel, I’ll give it one star for the animation. The developer at least understands basic body physics, so the movement during the lewd scenes is okay, I guess. That's where the praise ends.


Everything else? Absolute garbage.


Let’s talk about the renders. The dev clearly thought “Indian setting” would automatically equal exotic and appealing, but instead we got some of the ugliest character designs I've seen in a while. Just painfully unpleasant to look at. The incest angle is the same recycled slop that's been copy-pasted across a thousand bargain-bin VNs on this site - just the same dead horse beaten again.

The writing is atrocious. Not “needs improvement” atrocious - just straight up bad. And the choices exist purely so the game can pretend it's interactive. They don't matter. You could replace them with a "continue" button and lose absolutely nothing.

I honestly don’t know how people are calling this a masterpiece. If this is a masterpiece, we should do better as an audience. And the dev? Yeah - do a lot better.

This game is really really excellent it is enjoyable story and more of that , having lot of lewd scene which is amazing and really good Adult games offer a space where imagination, emotion, and personal choice come together to create experiences designed specifically for mature minds. They go beyond simple entertainment, inviting players into worlds filled with deeper stories, layered interactions, and meaningful decisions. These games often explore themes of trust, companionship, mystery, and human connection—elements that resonate more strongly with adults who appreciate complexity and subtlety.

Update 0.6 was when it scaled the peak for me.. good work..

Interesting theme, the game's fluidity is quite good, interesting and daring character design with brown skin, I loved it, it breaks from the traditional, the cinematics in the scene are awesome it's projects good ideas, appreciated that the developer considers the option for Android

Very very felt nice game I have played this game, this game is the story of an Indian milf, the story is very beautiful, you all must play it, you will really enjoy it, the game is still ongoing. Animation and graphics I really enjoyed it, please all of you come together and support so that the game can go further.

Well, what can I say? The developer abandoned the previous game claiming that incest was wrong, that there were many problems with it in his country, and blah blah blah. And now he comes out with another game, and guess the theme?
About the game, man, it's one of the things that made me look for incest games less and less. It's exactly the same dialogues in all of them, same situations, same internal conflicts, same boring story as always. I was a big fan of games of this genre, but it got to a point where it's just not working anymore, it's more of the same, zero innovation, zero surprise. What differentiates one from another is only the graphic quality nowadays. And I won't even talk about that part in this game, the developer opted for a style that differs from other games, some people hate it and some people love it.
Incest games today, I download them, take a look at the story, and I've already seen 100% of it in other games, zero desire to keep reading the same things. "We can't do that," "We can't cross that barrier," "I wanted to avoid this, but I can't," "I know it's wrong..." and many other phrases that have already been used to exhaustion.
I was going to give it one star, but I'll give it two so as not to discourage the developer, because it's not even his fault, but rather the theme that has become tiresome, the dialogues are tedious, the situations are cliché... I know there's not much way to escape it, but it's a theme that, by being repeated so much, is losing its charm.

this game stays and falls with it´s character dynamics. and so far it does a good job at "staying". all the chars personas are fell flashed out without it feeling forced and dialog between them flows nice and feels genuine.
exspecially the relationship between the 3 main cast chars is cooked with just the right temperature.
this is devs secound game and you can see how much he learned from his previous game , exspeically in terms of pacing

coloring around the genital area in certain scenes is off putting. it looks like a dildo has been attached to the MC's body after cutting out his real one. graphics isn't good enough to make up for the lack of good writing or sufficient quantity in terms of content. biggest issue is with the dev who's a major flight risk. doesn't respond well to criticism or suggestions for that matter.
abandoned his first game simply because he wasn't getting sufficient support. based on the 4 updates released for this game, doesn't seem like he's learnt anything substantial or productive that would actually help him gain sufficient support. so follow or get attached to the game at your own risk.

Fairly brief game so far, but there's a good amount of content and some teasing for what's to come. I'm eager to see future updates.

At first the models looked a bit off to me (like ps1 graphics), but once I got used to them, I thought the models and overall designs looked unique and well done overall.

I like the simplicity of the plot and scope of love interests. I prefer a game that isn't overly convoluted since it's easy to jump into it.

The Wishes is again a unique game, one where you feel you're playing an adult version of The Sims, taking part in what happens in a family in particular. Just like with Insimology, the highlights are the variety of animations and the expressiveness in those faces. Even if the worst is about to happen, everything is presented in a cheerful manner with characters that you can't avoid liking immediately. The models aren't perfect but they don't need to be because the way they move and how natural they act make the minor details irrelevant.

If I was pressed to mention a defect I suppose I could say continuity isn't the best and some scenes are displayed without any kind of transition in between even when it is obvious that e.g. some time has passed. Regardless, there's nothing obviously wrong here and I wish the developer gets all the support this deserves. I'm looking forward to seeing some (mature) girl trembling in ecstasy just like in the first game.

Great game!!! Incest are always good, never knew a rough model in saree could look so sexy, gave me nostalgia of my match teacher in saree(She had bigger boobs). I hope more Indian devs writes indian based stories.

Generic start, a guy with a sister and a mother that are attracted from the start. Everything is typical, the sister is sexually furstrated, the mom accidentally sees her son's dick and is immediately shocked by its size, usual porn logic stuff that removes half a star.
But the artwork is interesting and the animations are good, my only issue is the fixation with camera panning from a point out of frame and some weird angles but it's a small issue and just takes away half a star.
I'll keep my on that...

I loved the approach to this time. Though the speed needs to controlled. The animations are great. CG looks way better and hardly feels like sims. The choices option is better unlike last time. Over-all its a good start!

A good demo. Gives a decent preview of what the story and content is like. A plus point for diversity. Not many AVNs have an Indian setting. That's a new cool story to tell. Plus the animations and voices sound great. I only wish that the story will progress more reasonably in the actual game, rather than the rushed sequence we see in this demo.
