Well going virgin basically means going the holy route, which probably will give you different endings, items and strengthen them (as far as i know, none of that is in the game yet).

Once you have successfully completed the game with a virgin run, a special item will be unlocked.
This item will give you a 'Shield' every time you enter a room, not just when you enter a chapter.
