Important Info
!!! It is recommend you backup your saves before launching the game with this mod installed. !!!

This includes a save conversion feature to convert vanilla saves to the kind this mod uses. If you have a large number of saves (numbered in the hundreds or thousands), it may take a while to run. This should all happen behind the scenes during the splash screen loading, but it may not on some systems.

It is designed to run only once: on startup the first time you load the game with the mod installed. If you have additional saves stored that you want to use but don't have them in the game's save file folder (perhaps because of the vanilla bugs in v0.7.0 and v0.8.0 from having lots of saves), be sure to copy them over to the save folder BEFORE running the game the first time after installing the mod.

If you ignored this warning and later realized you made a mistake, you can fix this by opening the developer console and running the following command:

Code:
persistent.save_names_converted = False
This will reset the save converter. Now simply close and restart the game and it should convert saves again. Saves already converted will be converted again so if you gave them custom names they will be overwritten with what is in the vanilla save name list. New saves you created since installing the mod or saves that never had a name in vanilla will not be modified.

This mod has a clean uninstall. Deleting this mod will still allow everything to work under the vanilla code. However, bugs present in the vanilla code may cause issues, such as not being able to access any saves beyond page 49. Additionally, any new saves added while this mod is active will not have their custom save name in the vanilla version. But you can still load and play them if they aren't beyond page 49.
