Thoughts on my Character Concepts for an AVN I may or may not develop.

Disclaimer Before Reading:

So for the past year or so, I've been cooking up this idea about creating my own AVN especially now that I'm "knowledgeable" to a degree on Honey Select 1 and have a story I want to tell. As of now though, I only have a rough plot outline and character concepts/OCs as well as some scene assets. However, I have lot of hesitancy to move forward with this hence me saying "I may or may not develop it". As for why... well one, I'm not familiar with the Renpy engine at all. I do have coding experience but I wouldn't say I'm good and it might take me a month or maybe two to learn Renpy. Second, I have a 9 to 5 job and I'm not sure how demanding an AVN would be towards that. Lastly, I've never done anything like this before nor have any clue on how to proceed but I am willing to learn if somehow I'm motivated enough to actually make this. Now the best case is I actually push through and make it or worst case, I just share the HS cards and let other people use it for their own uses. Regardless, I'm just happy to share so let me know your thoughts, critics, suggestions or ideas. Please feel free to give me character names too that you think fit the character better since I'm shit in naming things.

Premise:

"The Main Character (MC) comes from your atypical traditional DND fantasy like world filled with magic and the familiar fantasy races you know and love. During an epic confrontation with the "dark lord" like figure in the opening of the AVN, he is sent 1000 years into the future by story related events that I won't share. There he witness a future where the world is filled with advanced technology foreign to him, a world where magic is dying and a world where the dark lord reigns supreme. The MC must find a way home and destroy the evil in this cyberpunk/dystopian like future he finds himself in."

PS. I also chose this setting since most hs1 games are always set in high school or college yet there's this plethora of location assets no body ever uses since it somehow always defaults to the "school setting". That said, I decided I want to try something different and offer something new.

Now I haven’t fully developed his backstory yet since I focused more on the Love Interests first. To be honest, I only created him mainly when I was adjusting the female characters' proportions and heights. That said, here's what he looks like so far. Let me know what you think or if you have any suggestions for improvement. Also, I intentionally made him look different to avoid the typical Honey Select protagonist look, and yes, I gave him a prominent jawline since, for me personally, most HS MCs lack a strong one.

Besides that, I do have other male characters that are the "friends"/"allies" of the MC but haven't had the time to make them at all. However, I can share that one of them is a Changeling and the other either a Firbolg or Goliath, subject to change of course but that's the gist.

I forgot to mention but I do plan on making this a harem game with 9 core Love Interests with solo routes... if ever. As you can see though, the first four are most likely their finalized designs and backstory. The rest though might be subject to change or just slightly be altered appearance and story wise. However, the last two might completely look different since I'm still thinking of interesting ideas for their characters. Especially the Vedalken one since finding assets for a fish lady in Honey Select is hard man. As for why the biography is vague in some characters, well one, I can't fit everything into that tiny ass square, and second, its intentional since some of it will be spoilers. I might as well mention that I do have an overarching narrative that will tackle some of this so there's that. Anyway, let me know what you think and suggest me names.

Conclusion:

Anyway that's all, let me know what you random f95 people think about the whole thing! Open to suggestions like I said before and by the way, should I develop it? Like based on what you read so far, would ya'll be interested in a game like this?

Shadowrun/Starfinder energy in terms of tech level and the interweaving of magic and technology, sure, but Tabaxi, Githyanki, and Yuan-ti are trademarked IP, and you don't want a bunch of Hasbro lawyers (or hired Pinkertons) knocking on your door, even for the free publicity. For legal reasons, I recommend you keep the characters but change the listed races to generic "cat women, space monks, and serpent people" alternate race names. Tiefling is straddling a line, but just to be safe I'd change that, too.

That said, I'm very interested to see where this goes and what you make of it. I anticipate your success in creating a good story to give proper context and emotional weight that a lot of less re-playable porn games lack.

I have shoulder, upper arm, and back hair. It migrated there from the top of my head in my early 20s.
In my defense, HS1 doesn't have any "realistic" full body hair mods. This is the best I can do with what I have until some modder makes it

Hey, I loved the designs! Especially Gwynne and Quor'rel (but I think everyone looks pretty good ).
Quick question, the game would be more like a linear experience with dialogue navigation, or something more like a sandbox game?
Looking forward to it if you ever make a game, I’d definitely give it a try!

probably the former. I think doing a sandbox from the get go would be way too hard for me considering I'm about to learn the engine xD
