She only sorta lied. She may not have killed anyone directly but she distracted Elva while wusisname came up behind her. So, close enough for me. Zero trust, zero interest - I'd rather not have her on the crew.
Well tbf it's not like she had complete free will at that moment, had she been a "normal" pirate like you I would put the full blame on her.
Still, in a cast were we have a princess and a diplomat, I can understand a pirate not being your thing.

Well except the diplomat isn't really a diplomat. No one sent her. She left on her own and against the advice of most of her people, because she was curious. I think she would be the one MC liked the best - independent, brave, curious and smart (and hot, it's an adult game after all, can't leave out hot). And she isn't interested, other than academically, in politics, she wants to go explore the world with MC. She's not going to double cross you or stab you in the back, because she doesn't have a horse in that race.

Well yeah, but in the eyes of the king I would say she counts as diplomat or at the very least the only representation of her people they have at court right now.

What I meant to say is that while Lorelei and Kasula are nobility and act like that, Glade still and acts like a pirate.

I think in a good AVN a lot of it boils down to how you read the MC. (As opposed to a bad AVN where the MC is just perpetually horny and has a big dick.)

The way I read it - Tobias feels betrayed by Henricus, sad about Elva (and sees some connection between those things). I don't think he has any faith in the plan anymore, especially since he doesn't really know what the plan was. Left to his own devices, I don't think he has much interest in the crown. He's not a politician, he's a sailor (a pirate but apparently one of the 'good ones'). He's been at sea since he was 5, all of his friends are sailors what does he know about being a Lord or King and why would he want to? I mean maybe if he was King someone would teach him to swim, which would be nice but other than that...

Maybe he's meant to be the boy from humble origins who wants to improve the lot of the common people, but I haven't heard him say anything that would indicate he has any interest or any ideas in that direction.

I already explained about the Lis - but in short - He and Lorelai don't have anything in common, he's not interested in politics and she's not interested in sailing. Glad is a sneaky bitch and tied to Elva's death - directly or indirectly, intentionally or not - doesn't matter. He lost his best friend since childhood, and the most likely Li had she survived. Kasula - beautiful and exotic, curious, adventurous and fearless and would like nothing better than to climb on his ship with his crew (family) and sail off to wherever the wind takes them.

I don't think Kasula is "nobility" either - I think she said that her people don't really have that. They have a queen, but there are only 200 of them (200!). She's a curious visitor, but not a noble or a diplomat.

She is the representative of her people in the eyes of the king and the court. If they simply saw her as a common citizen with no value, she wouldn't be allowed at court. Whether she considers herself nobility or not is, I think, irrelevant. The point I was trying to make is that she acts like nobility, whereas Glade's background is not the same.

I don't blame Glade for Elva's fate, and I won't blame Elva for her future actions if we meet her again in this game.

Other than that, the rest depends on how see the characters. I would argue that all three have their own unique charm:

Lorelei's is a story of a princess finding true love outside her status. Of the three, I see this as the most "movie-like" path.

Kasula's involves two different worlds colliding (R'ol society and ours) and navigating that while falling in love.

And Glade is the only one who shares a common past as a pirate with us. Even if she may be my least favorite so far, I also think she would be the one with whom we'd have the most natural connection.

Not so much into the whole glade/elva/li discussion but that part maaan.

The MC is such a fucking backstabbing bitch, "feels betrayed" which justifies him betraying the man who took him in like family, elevated him as a heir and never wronged him.

But no, he didnt told me his secret, off with his head! ... is really the most psycho behavior ever.

I play every path for completion and curiosity but i always hate myself on the lowell (and thats despite me kinda liking the king) allegiance path lol, what a shitty, ungrateful snake of a MC.

EVEN IF Henrikus really would have intended to steal all the spice in the world to rule it, it wouldnt have been the mc's place to betray him, the MC owed Henrikus loyality imo. He was the son of a whore and Henrikus gave him literally everything, a purpose, skills and standing in society.

Like i just cant comprehend this mindset at all, even if spice weavers are supposed to be these bad guys, the mc apparently never saw henrikus doing something thiiiis bad and (additionally!!) there were good spice weavers too who helped taking the evil ones down. SO WTF  WHY

fucking backstabbing coward snake!

The way henrikus looks at the MC when you visit him while hes captured always breaks me too, he doesnt even seem angry, hes just so utterly disappointed and defeated and looks so sad and pathetic when he tries to flee earlier.

(i think its still great that the avn gives the possibility lol, i just dislike that some paths are tied to it too strongly).

Nope, not noble, not a diplomat, not a representative- just the first one he’s met, even if she’s a common citizen. LThat’s her value. If they thought she was a representative they’d be sending diplomatic missives back for her queen. Instead she’s indicated that she might not go back at all.

This is a hard one, because usually I'm all about loyalty but ...

Culturally we tend to be against witch hunts and on the side of the mutants in X-men but this is a early Renaissance(ish) world. The spice weavers ruled the world until recently because left unchecked they can accumulate god-like powers and the rest of humanity have no real way to fight back. So the witch hunt, in this case, is somewhat justified even if innocents may be caught up in it. And Hernikus had just made a move that would have given him god-like powers if he'd succeeded.

Also, his decision to not tell anyone in the crew (his 'family') about his secret and this part of the plan just got a whole bunch of them killed, including MC's best friend. So I don't feel all that bad for him.

It's like spice is some kind of omniscience ready to go and render judgement on whatever the plot needs.
Hmm, the spice pledge could be an interesting tool for divination.
Pledge that lockhart is to the north and you die, then there are 3 different directions you could also check this way, and since everyone can pledge then you can pretty much go wh40k emperor psyker diet.

For as pretty as the girls are the sex scenes were super, super disappointing.

Another dev that doesn't know how to properly render sex scenes and doesn't actually show anything. All scenes just shown from behind, never see any penetration just some tits.
