What a retarded ending playing a game to have it mean shit in the end. Seriously what a joke if none of the relationships seem to matter then the game could have been finished in 5 minutes.

I have tried playing with the Mac version of the game but it doesn’t seem to open and work.

I thought there might be an issue with the patch. Is there another Mac version that is going to be released? Cheers. :coffee:

Damn I played the both games, cool ending and it really has an open path for the third game if the developer wants to, I liked it.
But please if there is gonna be a third one put a RECAP, I had to play the first one again because second one doesn't have a recap

It's been around a *really* long time yes - I ran into it in June 2024 and wasted 6-8 hours trying to work around it. It completely breaks the game for people that encounter it (which over the multiple years it's existed is more than 'quite a few'). I don't think Motkeyz has any interest in resolving it(?). Just toss up a review here, point it out, and then delete the game.
I've encountered the same issue. I'm pretty sure I've figured it out. The solution isn't very elegant, but it works. It turns out the issue isn't game-breaking, but it is super annoying. Read on, or skip to the bottom TLDR section.

I was refreshing my memory on this issue because I wanted to chime in, but while doing so I think I figured out the issue. The issue seems to be related to some dialogue animation loops. For example, during the scene where you meet Scarlet for the first time at the College, and she says "Are you saying you were staring at my ass?", It looks like it's supposed to switch to her smile idle animation, but it can't for some reason so it gets stuck. Misnamed trigger most likely? Not very helpful I know... but what I noticed is that if you do get stuck like that, there is a solution.

Basically, if you left-click or mouse-wheel up a bunch of times, you will get through the 'stuck' state. If you click fast enough, you might even be able to advance through it before the 'stuck' state kicks in. If not, you'll still get stuck, but that's ok. Just keep advancing the dialogue (even though you can't see it), and you'll get through it.

What seems to be happening (I can't say with certainty because I haven't seen the code), is that it's actually going through the dialogue, but you just can't see it due to the stuck image. When you eventually get out of 'stuck' state, you can see the dialogues you missed using the History. Now the interesting part is that if you count the number of dialogues missed in the History, you'll see that the number corresponds to the exact number of clicks needed to get through the 'stuck' part.

So for the Scarlet dialogue I mentioned above, if you get stuck on that first line, you need to click exactly 19 times to bypass the 'stuck' state (because there are 18 lines that are supposed to play while the smile animation is playing I assume). You can even see the smile animation after getting through the dialogue if you right-click or mouse-wheel down to back-track once.

I'm not sure if that would help the devs pinpoint the issue... but at least it's good to know there is a workaround for the player. The key is to not panic or go crazy with the clicks like I used to haha. If you try right clicking then left clicking a bunch like I did, you may never get through it because you're basically advancing and back-tracking through the dialogue and not advancing enough to get through it.

TLDR
So to recap... the solution is to left-click or mouse-wheel up a bunch of times until you get through the stuck state, check the history to see the dialogue you missed, and keep going.

Hopefully that makes sense and is somewhat helpful.

It's still annoying as hell don't get me wrong, but understanding the issue better can help you get through it without feeling like you're completely stuck.
