I see a lot of negative comments about this game, so I kind of want to throw in my two cents.
I became a fan of the game pretty recently. At first I played without any cheats, then later I started using them. But once the dev added the discovery mode for the quest timelines (and it’s available to everyone), that really changed things it’s exactly the kind of feature that should’ve been there from day one. I’ve been using this mode with pleasure, and it makes everything more or less clear.
As for gameplay and overall experience: the gameplay is simple but very convenient. You can move between locations quickly, jump into houses easily (I’m really hoping we’ll be able to visit the neighbors’ place too in the future). The lore is actually pretty interesting once you realize there are several corporations in the game, each playing their own game, and you slowly get pulled into that. And as far as I understand, later you’ll be building your own thing too. You can really feel that a lot of things are connected behind the scenes.
The game clearly has a lot of potential and it’s presented nicely: video scenes, UI, overall visuals everything looks quite decent. I honestly don’t really get the people who just write “don’t play this game” and leave it at that. I think it’s fair to show the other side too.
It’s definitely a cool game with lots of characters, locations and different storylines. The downside is that they still need to be tied together more, so the whole world feels like one complete picture. But if you give it time, I think it will really “come alive” in a good way.
Boldly giving it a 4 out of 5 from me.
