Hello, (reasonably) new user here.

I just wanted to say how impressed I am with this forum (I mainly use the game forum):
Civilized, respectful, helpful and amusing postings all over the place, as I have hardly seen in any other internet forum.
And this despite the fact that some of the games touch topics (such as rape etc) that, one might fear, could attract extreme nastiness...

Not sure whether this is due to excellent moderators, or just excellent participants, but thank you to whoever contributes to this.

It is an adult forum so most people act adult, there are however immature people, spicy memers and trolls just like on any other forum. I also didn't know what to expect when I first joined and was pleasantly suprised. I guess it's easy to judge things in advance and to think it would somehow be worse due to the subject matter. Anyhow enjoy your stay.

I would suspect that 14 year olds will not be deterred by the usual "please leave if you are <18" landing screens and that they are generally interested in all things porn; and I did not expect the ratio of adults to juveniles is different here than in other places?

But you are right that more people here act adult; and a natural explanation for this would be that they are.

Maybe it is not the <18 warning, but rather kids nowadays not using such old-school webforums any more, or non-mobile / non-console games, or games with many words (such as the visual novels here)?

Ironically the only nastiness is the developers milking their patreons and not releasing updates for over a year
