This review shares my thoughts and opinions about
Too Much Light [v0.5b Preview].
Story and Storytelling [2/5]: For now there is nothing much, but the classic zombie-apocalypse. But some things came along in this update: Caroline, who was a fashion model, lands in the raiders camp after the zombie outbreak. It's her choice to fight for her own life and help the raiders get more things going.
And the mechanic girl teasers about getting Caroline into Sonics World by talking about the mysterious
Green Hill (village).
Characters[3/5]: Caroline = MC Girl and damn she looks hot. Nothing more to say.
Adriano = Boss (?) of the raiders base camp. I like that he's not a clown anymore. Better for the immersion.
Charlotte = Mechanic girl for crafting purposes
Seems like Shine likes names for girls with the letter C. I hope there'll be some madam Clara or nasty Christine in the future.
Interface [5/5]: The menu is really well-elaborated. Setting look brilliant and the all got on-point explanations what they do and change. Ingame skilltree looks very beautiful with exact explanations. Only inventary is still rustic.
Save/Load options work well, but still got problems with the inventary.
Another problem with the inventary is, that if it's full, you won't get the key to the underground. And afterwards the dialog-option is gone. Makes progress impossible.
Infected DNA does nothing for now, well, I didn't find an use for it.
I wish you could sell stuff you don't need, like ammo for shotgun, if you go for rifle and vice versa.
Sound [5/5]: BGM is fitting and creeps your guts really well. Action sounds are on-point. There's sounds for everything already: entering/leaving an area, EXP, LVL-UP, taking aggro of many zombies, etc.
Gameplay [4/5]: Damn, there is much to say. But overall I think this update is a huge upgrade to the last version.
First things first: If we start a New Game, we get to chose a difficulty level. There is Raider (easy), Survivor (normal) and Fashion model (hard). Each comes along with a different outfit.
But that's not all: The difficulty level determines how much hits the zombies can take before going down: With handgun: Easy = 2 headshot, Normal = 4 headshots and Hard = 5 headshots. Based on my testing.
Exploints: You can enter and leave Adrianos apartment (or any other hard locked area) and all metalboxes will be filled with loot again. Zombies don't respawn.
Survival points = EXP that give you a survival level for unlocking new and useful skills. For example the dodge-roll with some stamina perks, that make the bossfight a walk in the park.
Some zombies have wierd hitboxes, if they are in a movement-animation like standing up.
Shooting in general feels really nice for me. I don't play any FPS games, besides Bioasshard Arena and this game, so I wouldn't know anyway.
Traps (bear trap). Well this is an annoying one. If you only have your start stamina (100). You can instant reload or restart the game, because you don't have the power to break free from it. And the sexscene, if a zombies comes for you, is still buggy. But I don't care for this much, because smooth gameplay is far more important in this gamestate right now. And there it did really well this update.
Cumflation system is for those who like it. That's it.
Sexscenes are ok and don't have much clipping, besides some clothing pieces.
There is Blowjob for normal zombies. Full nelson anal for fast tank zombie and the boss fight scene I haven't seen, yet.
All in all I think this update shows some huge progress and I really like that Shinekuku focuses on creating a game, that's fun to play.
If I look at some other titles like
Pure Onxy, who only deliver sexscenes and no gameplay progress to milk subscribers (exaggerated opinion), then I like this approach by far better. It's more like Anon42's game
Crisis Point: Extinction. Highly fun game to play and the hot stuff is the cherry on top.

Here are some more things I had to share about the update
