Found my original critique of Koda's writing for anyone that's interested. Also highlighted the only parts donkus in engaging with for the lulz
>All the girls are very one-note, their expansions don't change their one-dimensionality. They all have the same goal of wanting to dominate young boys, and their motivations are either really dumb or non-existent.

The girls are personification of fetishes, and thus are bound to be one dimensional. Amusingly enough, I've mentioned this ages ago when I had the same discussion with you. Secondly, wouldn't spending more time on a single girl improve her?

>Also the idea that every girl is secretly super powerful and they're just letting Ethan pass through their respective floors because they feel like they'll end up enslaving him anyways, is just plain stupid, and creates a bunch of other plotholes.

None of them are secretly super powerful. The >secretly super powerful aspect exists purely mentally and was mentioned by Koda himself.

>The world-building has been awful from day one. Basically TLA+Pokemon, which doesn't make a lot of sense because people aren't like Pokemon (A firebender wouldn't be psysically hurt by you throwing water at them like a Fire Pokemon would). And also anyone can learn moves of any type, there's a reason why not every bender in TLA is the avatar, or why the only Pokemon who can learn every move is Mew. If you're gonna give everyone everything then why bother creating distinctions? It's bad they forget about it on ocassion, like for Karen, we don't know what her "type" is.

You do realize that specializations exist in real life as well, or do you believe that graduating with a degree in something means that you are a complete expert of every sub-field pertaining to it.

>Koda also seems to have this way of writing everyone's dialogue that is way too similar. You can easily imagine half of the things Khulan is saying coming from Cobra's mouth, despite how different those two girls are supposed to be. He can't express a girl being seductive/teasing enough with words that he has to overuse the '~' symbol. And I do mean overuse, he'll use it literally 20 times in a single encounter with any girl. Sometimes he even uses heart emojis, ffs. And another one of his writing ticks is having girls say 'Hmhm'.

I agree with you on the symbols, but due to the overlap of fetishes, most repetitions will be of filler lines that are common due to the presence of a shared fetish.

>replayability

Not possible in any porn game which doesn't have branching paths.

I’ve been lurking for a while and have seen you’re absolute hate boner for Koda throughout all of the pages, and I do agree that Koda’s delays are annoying. Personally I like his writing as it rubs me the right way, but the writing in ToT does not need to be nearly as descriptive as MGD as ToT has cg which shows what is happening while MGD needs description (if this has already been discussed ignore me). MGD is a great game and while the updates are relatively slow, imo, the content is worth the wait. I feel the same about ToT, but if Koda stopped giving direct estimates for dates and something along the lines of “sometime this week/month” I think it would be better.

Just wanted to say something about the elemental disadvantages. It really doesn’t make sense and that comparison is irrelevant. It wouldn’t make sense for someone to be hurt more depending on the style they use. It would make sense if, for instance, there were different barriers for the elements, like hydroscreen, which decreased the damage of the element that is weak to it and the element itself. It would make more sense if fire moves dealt more damage to someone without armour, so they could feel the full effect (e.g. Khulan) while lightning attacks deal more damage to someone in armour. Either way, it is a game so game logic applies, where fire<wind and wind<lightning etc.

I think it’s kinda funny to think of Ethan as the Mew of the ToT world. Becoming all powerful mastering all elements and, after beating floor 20, adventuring out into the world to start anew. Or it could be a joke ending, with him being the king of the fire nation that attacks the rest of the world. Or even rose being the queen and him being the avatar. Idk just a wee but funny to me.

Okay, we're gonna have to dwell on this one, because the lengths that you'd go to in order to defend Koda's shitty writing are frankly ridiculous.
"The girls are personification of fetishes"
I'd like to see any indication of this being anything other than your opinion, because I'm pretty sure that most people wouldn't see the ToT villainesses this way, at all.
If the girls from ToT were actually all supposed to embody different fetishes then I feel like it would be reasonable to expect that this would be the case for each of them:
1. The fetish that they're the personification of should be readily apparent just from looking at them (this is only the case for Khulan if you assume barbarian fetish, and Eliza if you assume nun fetish)
2. Their content should completely revolve around that fetish, and two characters shouldn't overlap in the kind of content that they have (literally every character has some kind of variation of the same kind of content in this game, when you're sniffing Khulan's heels you might as well be sniffing Scarlett's because there's no fucking difference in the writing or the scenes)
If you want to convince me that the girls are each supposed to be the personification of a certain fetish, then explain why 1. and 2. are true for each and every one of them, or find a direct quote from Bo or Koda saying that that was their intention. I'll wait.
Then there's also the fact that some of the girls are stuff that Bo unceremoniously ripped off from other media, like . Or are you also gonna argue that "Sister Eri" was supposed to be the personification of some fetish in that Msize game she's from too?
Now the much more likely explanation: Boda had a different theme in mind for every girl that they were in the process of creating. No shit, but this is a lot different from the girls being the embodiment of said theme. When I (and I assume most people) think of a being that is the personification of something else, what immediately comes to mind are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, or the Seven Deadly Sins as they are protrayed in various media. When I think "character that was made with a theme in mind"... I think of a shit ton of characters from all over the place.
And even if your interpretation was true, saying that because they are meant to be personifications of fetishes that they'd need to be one-dimensional is a total non sequitur. If the fetishes that they are meant to represent aren't one-dimensional, because rarely anything in life is, then there's no reason for the characters themselves to be one-note. This is just a poor excuse for poor writing.

My point was that if it was just Ethan then it would've been okay, but everyone in ToT's world can learn any fucking technique like it's nothing. Everyone is Mew and the Avatar.
Mew is cute though, I love that little space cat.

Ah yes. I missed your point in that case then. Thanks for explaining it to me. We can assume that the different dojos are not meant to teach others techniques from their dojo, but then both Lily and Ethan ignore this, with Ethan being a horny boi and Lily being horny for Ethan. So if anything, the cause of a mew or avatar like character appearing is the player and people the player interacts with.

so far have played your game a fwew times .

and i had this taught that you might make it that after al our hard work /grind we get the option to turn the tables on the ladies.
so we can be the one to finaly dominate them.

it would give room for lots of new content plus a hefty upgrade in people interested no?
No. Nope. never do that. If it's ever done it should be a trick that goes badly for the hero protagonist and results in things being far worse.

So, playing the Lily content. Almost no new art, but the content itself is hot.

Except the public humiliation part, right in front of her brother. That part can go die in a fire.
