Lacking content, and even has girls that are obviously planned for a DLC instead of being in the game. Stories for girls are almost entirely gutted.

BUT, it's still a good game, miles ahead of the RPGmaker dime a dozen games.

It's long, has tons of girls, lots of things to do, allows a lot of freedom, etc., etc.

The second game with all its DLC's was better, but that's usually the case for Beelzebub games, they're like Civilization games where they are full of frustrations and a lack of content until updates and 2-3 DLC's.

So you might want to wait and see, or just go into it knowing all that.

As posted in the other thread: they're charging triple the price for 1/3 of the content. Even though they've added more girls they've reduced the animations and reused others for characters that are returning from the previous one. One of the games Strongest suits, that separated it from Other games of this genre is the fact that it had 2d animated scenes for each part that you grab or grope while on the train. For some there'd even be two sets of animations depending on if you grab from the front or the back. Now even though this one has the most characters the game has ever had before It's lazily done now with reuse assets for the old characters and no backshots for the new ones, which is ridiculous when you think about the fact that some of the characters allures is their backside. I normally don't like leaving reviews, but I am warning anybody reading this now. If you liked the first and second game, this one's going to be a letdown

They say "don't fix what ain't broke" - and Beelzebub seems to have really taken that to heart, in that this could be marketed as an expansion DLC to 300% 2 and no one would bat an eye.
If anything, the new stock market system makes any economical systems or decisions completely moot, which in my opinion is a negative.
If you liked 2, you will find this perfectly serviceable as well, although it is pretty clear they are running out of character archetypes to put in this series.
Also, the ENG translation is as shit as ever - you might have a better time playing in Japanese and using Google Lens or something to translate.

It would be a good game were it not for the ugly bastard main character. Unfortunately the second the scenes come on it pulls me out of the experience so hard, the train scenes are nice, if not annoying at times, and the game doesn't exactly explain the whole food and passing out thing well. F95 needs an ugly bastard tab, because this game without a gross looking MC and a little better translation it would be a great game.

There's good and bad here, overall I'd say its on the higher end of average. Biggest problem is the lack of a good translation and very little depth to the game. There are skills and stuff but upgrading them is a bit slow and the stock market mechanic is just more annoying than anything else. Still the art is really good and the gameplay itself is actually kinda refreshing, assuming you haven't gotten tired of it from the last 2.
