this is a review from a person who played mainly with the game provided cheats like "give all resources" (not "all" resources might i add) and "unlock all areas"
Quite frankly other games where you collect and sell "precious cargo" are just lacking what this game already has from alpha.
you feel like you're actually doing something and while each character you pick up may be randomly generated, it doesn't feel or get as stale as other collect. train and sell games. Species variety aside, you can modify and customize to quite a comfortable (or uncomfortable if you want to go the cursed route) degree.
Making ideal characters and building up some new aspect for them, managing your own ship and going out on expeditions for whatever you need.
even the skill tree has potential if given the chance like this game as a whole, from being able to teleport into whatever location you select and have a squad as additional fire.
The game makes me want more, more machines, more planets, more "exotic" methoids of training your stock and even explore more what can be done.
personally I struggle with the resource management and I'm impatiant for the modules so I am glad the dev provided a cheat table, limited as it may be, it was enough to keep me coming back. The one part I didn't want to cheat was the quests, they gave me something to do as I wait down timer on the ship.
Really hoping for expansions of the trash planet, the black market, the "zone-tan's wet dream" planet, and especially the Elven/Elain planet once they are more developed. Possably even face "The Alliance" as they try and track us down maybe. (so long as the cargo stays safe)
there are of course bugs but that's to be expected with a project that's W.I.P. on Page 80 of this form is where I address the ones I found and a few tips I think some may find helpful, Note: the tips are mostly what I could summarize from other contributers to this thread.
