It's just that buzzfeed has ads, and now browsers are doing the "final user protection" thing of simply saying everything from an ad site is a virus.
From what little I played, yeah. Though I don't have specialized tools for detection, just rely on my local AV. You can run it on sites like virustotal (be aware that it can give false positives, though mostly those appear as 1/60 instead of, say, 10/60), or ask in the thread about malware if you think the virustotal result means the file is suspicious.
