It would been a delight to be able to play this one with a decent english translation though.

it ran on well on my old laptop that uses Windows 8.1 but I got the same error (with different gibberish letters, weird) when I tried to run it on my PC which uses Windows 11. Possibly because it's an old ass game that's optimized to run on older system softwares.

Edit: I just remembered that you need to use Japanese Emulator to play. I don't know if it works on w11 though and I'm too lazy to try myself.

Yeah i reckon the "game too old" is the issue here. Tried running it with japenese locale emulator, changing the system region to japanese (because that can be the issue as well), different compatibility modes, to no avail.

Can't be arsed hooking up my old pc or my even older Laptop for them, oh well. Thanks for the input anyway

Yep, I'm in the same spot. Unless if the game somehow got translated to English then I'm buying myself a used dogwater old laptop to play it.

I'd take a mtl for this just so I could have some idea of what's going on, but either way I run into this error after a bit so idk

You mean the devs who purposefully censor their stuff in accordance to the local laws, with no foreseeable plans to release their product outside of their country (which sort of makes the aforementioned uncensoring pointless)?..
