Found this game searching for a different game on DL. Normally, I don't vibe with these types of "games", but this feels professionally well done. I enjoyed the hell out of it, and I recommend people to check it out if interested, or at the very least try the demo. The story is interesting if you care about that at all, and I ended up liking your companion, Paper, alot mlre then I'd thought I would. [Though this can make the individual battles quite long. I'm a fan of it, but to each their own]
My favorite aspect of the battled would have to be the "visions of defeat". Moves surrounding that are very good. This entire game is focused on "immersion". This is evident throughout the each aspect.
Unfortunately. 8800 yen (~60 USD right now) is WAY to much of an asking price up front. I still have plans to support this, but no way am I buying it right now. My recommendation? Wait until it's around 15-20.
Only main issues are:
1. To my knowledge, there isn't technically a "gallery" mode, which is a shame no matter the game.
2. Really wish that the "Give up" Button actually played your climax instead of jumping to a Game Over screen. If they do something like this in the future, I think this is the major one for me.
Overall? 7/10. Really well done for it's genre. With some QoL updates, possibly a 8.
