Your alchemy shop is in massive debt, so naturally your mentor decides to shove all her responsibilities onto you to do more important things like drink and gamble. Now you're on an epic journey to rebuild the shop's reputation and pay off a 2 million gold debt.

The gameplay loop consists of accepting quests from the guild and around town, delving into dungeons to find materials, and then using those materials to alchemize the items needed to complete each request. Completing quests earns you money as well as fame, which is needed to raise your adventuring rank as well as your shop level. Learn more alchemy recipes by ranking up your shop level as well as buying recipe books from the town shops. Helpful markers showing where quests can be taken, when shops have new recipes, and pointing out events make sure that you're never wasting your time chatting with random NPCs hoping they have something useful to offer. With simplistic ARPG combat that barely takes any effort at all, this gameplay loop is highly addictive and easy to get lost in.

Outside of questing, you can find many events throughout town. You can see the townsfolk perv on the player character and interact with the very eccentric cast of side characters. H scenes are primarily achieved through town events, and there are also defeat scenes in combat that feature dot pixel animations. The tone can get surprisingly dark, from casually running over townsfolk while riding the tram to the dungeon (and getting delicious mystery meat you can eat to heal yourself) to unraveling a conspiracy against the main character which involves a tragic turn of events early on.

Despite how dark the story can get, the game maintains a comical tone and its gameplay will satisfy the perfectionist who likes to clear out a laundry list of tasks. While the ratio of H scenes to play time may be a bit on the low side, the attractive character art and quality of H scene drawings more than makes up for this to create a quintessential HRPG experience.
