So there is no cgs in the base game and to get the images i have to install a mod?
Yes, none in the base game, but the image pack is not a mod, it's a repacked version of the base game (at least it was the last time I played). In other words, you either download the base game or the image pack - if you want the high-res images and the cgs you just download the image pack, no need for the base game.

To play for free? Flip a coin. If heads, try the free version and see if you like it. If tails, come back in a week and ask the charred corpses of this dumpster fire of a thread if anything new pisses them off again.

at this point i honestly think most of they money for both these "games" come from people who forgot to unsub or forgot they even have a patreon. I know this because i fucking forgot 4 years ago and noticed i was still subbed to them when i was grabing some fallout and darkest dungeon mods. I honestly believe if patreon started flagging accounts inactive and forcing a unsub they lose alot
Man this is such a shame. The only silver lining is at least they are leaving unfinished crew members as crew members instead of downgrading them and brutalizing their original character.
I really, really want a good sci-fi lewd game, but TiTs is just fermenting at this point it seems. And that's just regrettable.

Other dude is kinda out of date so I'll answer:
The image pack and the standard version are the same thing, image pack has the handful of CGs and better quality busts. The standard version has a download option on the main screen which will download straight from their servers. The image pack is the intended mode of play.
Personally I think if you've never played this game before (and like chicks with giant dicks), it's worth it. The amount and quality of content in this game is incredible for a community project, the problem is that there's no ending for basically anything. A good chunk of characters don't resolve their arcs as their writers have left the project and they have a policy of not touching others' characters. There is also a bias towards dommy women with giant (usually) horse dicks as you get closer to late game content. As writers and contributors left the project in the 10 years it's existed, the variety of content suffered; there's just much less variety of characters, body types, genders, and storylines. Personally I go in for that, but you know, YMMV. Everyone here is kind of down on it because we've been waiting for years for a lot of things to finish and been burned by it, but I think going in with fresh eyes you'll have fun for a pretty good time.

For sure the early to early-mid game is pretty good. There's even some art from artists that have since retired/fell off the face of the earth (wolfy-nail, for example, did some art for the Fennec you meet in the early jungle planet).

Judging from a lot of the posts in this thread, there sure is atleast a vocal minority that despise(?) the game (or atleast most of the writers).
I don't think despise is the correct word here, but I can't think of another one to use.
Very well made game imo, but I have a problem with the new update. So I wanted to make a new save and realized you can never get filled in the puss. Ironically, I was playing as a Kaithrit and found this problem. No preg content for that character... Anyone else have this problem with 133?
