Honestly I would absolutely hope (and like to believe) there's not another 10 years of dev time, when there's like, what, 1.5 planets left for the probes? Plus whatever finale they got planned cuz I doubt the final probe is the actual end game

I wish that they also made some updates with more ships, weapons, armor, I want me a star destroyer and obliterate pirates. I feel like it kinda lacks on that, so many updates are just small smut tangents, like the fucking cock sock update; They could try and add more fun stuff too yk, it's not like they're in a hurry anyway.
They already dropped all those plans the better part of a decade ago, even though they were backer goals and shit, and therefore not something they were supposed to be dropping.

The ships as a whole are a pointless mechanic. They offer marginal upgrades, are prohibitively expensive, and the best one you can get you just steal as part of the main quest, and in doing so you lose your current ship. Meaning they've created a system that active discourages your participation, and whose optimal path is to tough it out with the starter ship until you steal the uber-ship some 4 planets in; there is literally zero reason to interact with any of the other options.
Honestly, if you want some decent ship-on-ship action, you need to play Star Valor or Rebel Galaxy or Starcom: Nexus or Space Pirates & Zombies or literally anything else.
Presumably everything is a smut tangent because perverted whales are the ones blowing enough cash on special request content to keep the whole thing afloat and/or catering to their very specific and niche desire in lieu of actual progress towards wrapping up the main story is easy/profitable work to coast on. Honestly, seems like a good racket if you can stick the landing. At least Adjatha is staying busy, so I'm sure they're happy at least.

I dunno, does Fenoxo spend half their time live streaming while dummping in store bought assets (the infamous 5,500 polygon toothbrush comes to mind) that tank the performance of the game, while they simultaneously farm almost everything off to unpaid volunteers?

Is it just me or does Fenoxo have the sniffles every so often? I vaguely remember him getting sick several times in recent years and every time he acted like he was on death's door.
