looks like she is in fact there. for some reason the stair icon changes to something else as well. not sure how i didn't notice that, but i guess it's not like they made it particularly obviousNo, she's in the game. You may be thrown off by the fact that they put an NPC icon on her room instead of a stair icon, as when you go into that room you have to hit that button in the bottom left corner to go up to where she actually is.
Some missing scenes, weird fuckery with shops, piercings, combat crashes, etc. The bug reporting forum on the main website is getting pretty consistent additions since 0.9.016. No developer response for most of them yet. The usual bug-fixer hasn't logged into the forum in ~2 weeks. What else is broken in the current version? Inv is the only one that I'm aware of rn....
Honestly I completely missed it as well the first time around, I had to look it up on the forums.looks like she is in fact there. for some reason the stair icon changes to something else as well. not sure how i didn't notice that, but i guess it's not like they made it particularly obvious

"Usual bug fixer" I thought the fenco team was dealing with they fixes in general, did they just let one guy handle it?Some missing scenes, weird fuckery with shops, piercings, combat crashes, etc. The bug reporting forum on the main website is getting pretty consistent additions since 0.9.016. what mistake is that?"Usual bug fixer" I thought the fenco team was dealing with they fixes in general, did they just let one guy handle it?
Also, I presume they're not making the same "mistake" and releasing source code this time for the port, let alone the original flash.
Releasing the source code for the community to mod the shit out of the game I reckon.what mistake is that?
Why would releasing the source code be a mistake? Other than people discovering just how shit the code is.Also, I presume they're not making the same "mistake" and releasing source code this time for the port, let alone the original flash.
The devs have come to dislike modding and don't want it to be any easier for people to mod the games. Why would releasing the source code be a mistake? Other than people discovering just how shit the code is.
Oh, I know, but I thought there might be more to it than that. Fen and Co being butthurt over mods is always hilarious. The devs have come to dislike modding and don't want it to be any easier for people to mod the games.
I'm an ignorant savage so please excuse my confusion, but that doesn't make sense to me. Doesn't Fen or whoever's hosting the master repository ultimately have control over what does and does not get merged with the source code? How can he/the team fail to understand how the code works when they have to approve what does and does not get changed? Was he merging changes to the master without actually knowing what they did?Yeah, they feel like releasing the source code for others to help them (at the time, that was the thinking from what I've gathered) clean up some content led to significant parts of the source being altered to the point where apparently fenoxo couldn't figure out how it worked anymore.

Fair enough. We'll probably never know what exactly happened with that then, but thanks for the reply.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I wasn't here when that happened. So honestly, I have no idea what the actual chain of events were.
Yes, Fenco should have final say as to what gets pulled into the repo. But possibly, they just blindly pulled without really checking how it worked. Or perhaps, someone else did understand it but Fenoxo himself didn't. AFAIK, their "team" was also comprised of a mixed group of varying levels of coders.
If you go and look at the bug reports forum most of the fixed bugs are by Gedan. A few others also work at it but Gedan seems to be the busiest and most prominent programmer in general (at least recently)."Usual bug fixer" I thought the fenco team was dealing with they fixes in general, did they just let one guy handle it?
