DESCRIPTION

the above image shows the 1st choice selection in triangle blue in jp and is working fine

the above choice selection is after I added then english patch, it's garbled and you can't see all selection choices like in jp version also some choices clone themselves
the english text is working fine when it comes to regular text in the game but doesn't work for any choice selection textboxs
can someone tell me either how to fix or fix the english patch for me? I'll link both bellow

Can some kind soul tell me how to fix the garbled text in the choice selection?, I've been looking for a eng patch for this game for years and when i get one it does this

Have you perhaps tried right-clicking Triangle Blue's main executable (.exe file) and running Japanese locale from there?

maybe i didn't elaborate properly, the dialogue text works just fine in the eng patch, it's only when i reach the choice selection and have to click on a choice that i start having issues, all the english text for the choice options is garbled or is so long that some choices disappears at the bottom of the game screen

Yeah, good point. I think if there is a way to modify some of the text in the choice selection UI in the game's .ini files that might provide some useful tidbits to help troubleshoot the issue here.

HalfGhost222 have you perhaps tried to compare the .ini files of the game (Triangle Blue) both before you applied the English patch and the game's .ini file after the patch had been applied? Maybe that might reveal something further (y)

is aos file the same as a ini file? the game doesn't have a ini file as far as i can see

I went to the TL modder and got him to fix the mtl patch so my request can be considered finished
