So, I was hesitant about starting this one because it's been a year since the last update. I usually support on patreon (if they have one) after I try a game out and if I like it enough. I would classify this as one of those cases but, from the looks of the patreon (without subbing) it looks kinda dead.. is this game dead? I really hope not because, this is truly a good story with decent characters. You know when you feel invested in a story after playing it with these games, in a lot of cases its rare to find one. A lot of the vns on here are cookie cutter, bad stories, lacking any character depth with subpar dialog; porn games trying to be something they aren't. I really hope this isn't the end for this one.

Dev paused Patreon billing a while back and went on a break due to bad mental health and other reasons. Started working on the game again a few months ago and does post on patreon a bit more than he was ,though best way to stay updated would be via the devs discord as he posts there quite often, and either myself or another one of his patreon supporters usually uploads any patreon posts he makes here though i would still say support the dev if you're able to.

It's not dead. The dev had to take a break for a while, but he's back now and working on this as much as he can.
I think this VN is very underrated, hopefully the next chapter will be worth the wait.
I can't wait to see what happens next with his twin sister Kayla and that we get to see a change in their relationship. I think I'm more excited about this than I am about any of his romantic relationships.

I used to not be a fan of hers but she started to warm up to me around the end of Chapter 2 or chapter 3 I forget which then the ending of Chapter 3 was enough for me want to protect her and help her out.
To me there is 2 levels of Hate / dislike .
Level 1 : one where you hate them to their face but still will be there for them if it's something serious.
Level 2: Then there is one where you don't care what is happening to them you always ignore them. For this they have really do something bad to make this list for me.
Even when I used to hate the sister she only was at level 1 and probably the same for the ex girlfriend.

I can understand that. In the very least he is entitled to some serious and sincere apologies.
Family is family at the end of the day, so I hope things get alot better between the MC and Kayla. I know that's not going to happen overnight, they've wasted so many years bickering and bitching with each other. To go from that to being close all of a sudden wouldn't be very realistic or natural IMO. They will hopefully make an effort though.

agreed, hate those type of sayings. it's manipulative and controlling. being born doesnt indebt you to the people who chose to bring you into the world. in the MCs case, if blood was so important how come not even his parents took his side. they sided with the daughter who sided with her boyfriend and his friends. none of them gave MC benefit of doubt and then ostracized him in his own home. where was their forgiveness for him

the sister I can understand, but Sierra or whatshername not at all. How she handled things was entirely unreasonable, and downright being an asshole. So she gets the same treatment. I wouldn't go as far as letting someone seriously hurt her or worse, but that's about it.

well that's what I mean by level 1 of dislike / hate when it comes to Sierra she is not so hated id let something bad happen if I could do something about it she hasn't done enough wrong to earn that treatment ( yet) , close to it but not there yet. But I wouldn't lift a finger or talk to her if it wasn't anything serious.
tbh I just came up with my level chart of dislike or hate on the spot if I really cared enough I would have to refine it so Sierra is basically right above the worst level for me. I just kind of grouped everyone that isn't horrible like vulvamorth in level 1. I can only think of maybe 3 - 5 LI that I would even put in level 2 where I wouldn't help them even if it was serious.

it is just fucked up that his own family didnßt believe in him. At that age it would brake normaly people and make them hate everyone and the world.

The problem was (and correct me if I'm wrong because it was a while I played and I can be misremembering) the MC don't really know or have an plausible explanation that it wasn't him that did it. Like for example as much his parents want to believe him all the evidence goes against him right? At least this is how I remember it might be completely wrong.
I didn't get the impression that the parents disbelieved him. As they are questioning him about it all and he says that of course he has a password on his phone, "its my birthday!"... they share a look that I took to mean they realize his password was easily bypassed, so the bullies were to blame. Maybe that's just me giving them the benefit of the doubt. But also I don't think he'd have such a congenial relationship with them both as he does if they also didn't believe him all this time.

It was a horrible situation, his parents had questions for him but ultimately believed him. Kayla made a huge mistake and believed the wrong people. I guess the question is, are you willing to forgive and move on or hold a grudge forever?
