Trouble with the OOT based Hairs.........

Been using DAZ Studio better part of 10+ years now and recently ran across an issue using the OOT Hairs it's not 1 of them it's all of them. When I fully render a scene I get some weird black distortion to the skin MAT's of the character. I am wondering am I the only one having this issue or is it a common problem?? Reddit topics have suggested it is an issue all the OOT Hairs give when the render is finalized, something about incompatibility with DAZ and only way to fix it is Zbrush. Basically I need to know if there is a work around or is it pointless using the hairs? (PLEASE INQUIRE ONLY SUGGESTIONS, COMMENTS, OR A SOLID ANSWER. THANK YOU.)

weird black distortion? you mean the scalp poke trough? it tends to happen when the character has different level smoothing from the hair so the scalp doesn't sit perfectly on the skull. try adding a smoothing modifier to the hair?
