I'm trying to remember the name of a game, it was VN, probably made on ren'py, the premise was that you were the son of a powerful family and i do believe there was a story of them being the former ruler of a city, I remember that the first chapter was during the last year of your studies and the second was you coming home to discover that your dad had died/disappear.
