Tunnel Escape was for a while in /Translation Requests.
- The Japanese version (later English version) got shared there.
- The dev decided they didn't like that lol. Asked to stop sharing it and got an obvious "no".
- Came back to insulting everyone, while Elzee deleted all msgs and got banned some quotes can still be found here. Also the whole lore should be in that thread.
- Started to implement a "Code" DRM where you have to input a code that verifies online.
- If its wrong at some point it could seriously damage your PC - this was implemented as the new code obviously was shared with the game
- Got Patreon and (I think Itch too) suspended because the game was reported being dangerous what was correct
- "Downgraded" the code to only may corrupt/deletes saves.
- "Downgraded" again to only close the game, that was the last version before it got cracked.
- All the above, well to nobodies surprise fucked the subs too
- (Note all the Code stuff is from Memory I could be slightly off)
- Ohh btw Elzee blames pirates for the code shit, that WE implemented the dangerous version of the code DRM
- I think we only got like 2 or 3 cracked version until the stream release happened anyways.
- Now the game is published by Saikey Studio whoms even has an account here. And the game on Steam is DRM free too LMAO

Basically in previous Tunnel Escape, dev went nuts with his attempts to protect his game from being pirated. Got so bad he put in something that deleted your save unless you put i na code that was changing like every 4 hrs. A lot of his supporters suffered because of it. Also was trashtalking a lot in translation thread here on F95. As his attempts to stop piracy escallated he basically put into game an equivalent of a virus. And got slapped hard by Patreon for doing that.
A shame too. Had Elzee not behaved like that they would have double the amount of supporters. I liked previous game. But i wont support someone that behaves like an asshole because of something that existed even before internet was a thing.

I am also from Russia, I have no problems with Terminal. Maybe it's your ISP that's messing you up. I have Rostelecom, everything downloads without problems. As a last resort, use a VPN or Epic Privacy Browser (it has both a proxy and VPN built in).

Holy shit, this one more crazy that other artist from South Korea, I think he name is Slatex. Summary is Slatex was so mad that he comic are pirated in Kemono and other website and complain alot on he Patreon later on Slatex deleted he patreon not returning for few month but return again create new patreon and the cycle repeat itself.Tunnel Escape was for a while in /Translation Requests.

I probably know at least 10 who rage at kemono and some also deleted Patreon, some came back some not lol. Imagine trying you have more chances against piracy then publisher with billions of $.
No you overwrite the orig files. Need too keep the zip of the game. If you want to revert you can unpack the game again and just transfer the saves.
