Review made on v1.1.0sn.

TL;DR
After extensive thought on how I would review this game, Tunnel Escape unfortunately rates Poor for its inability to respect the player's time and provide meaningful H-content that is mostly accessed behind tedious gameplay.

Longer Version
Tunnel Escape reminds me of older flash games (good) but with an infinitely higher amount of grind and tedious time wasting (bad).

Gameplay at its core is quite solid with a very basic shoot-em premise as zombies, monsters, robots, and other entities come after you. It's a unique gameplay cycle and deserves praise. Firing weapons and comboing or using skills is enjoyable and the loop of battle works fairly well.

The rogue-like gameplay loop per section is alright, but more on that below. The biggest problem is it doesn't offer enough on replay to enjoy thoroughly.

The delay of H-content, poor pacing, and awkward advancement really bring this down for me. You will wait for long reload animations, you will wait while enemies attack slowly, you'll wait while your character goes "kyaa!" and gets grabbed to potentially initiate some semi-H-battle-content, you will wait between transitions, and worst of all you will find excessive repetition with going through each path over and over to either get content or loot.

On top of this the mechanics between H and combat conflict with each other. If you want to see more H-content you're likely to lose quickly, so how do you want to play? It's impossible to meet both needs (winning the game and unlocking H-content) without wasting loads of extra time.

Throughout all of this you won't really be all that horny or titillated (bonus points for vocab, right?). While gameplay is okayish, you're playing a porn game for a reason. It just doesn't work well.

H-content is fine. It's not my cup of tea for the main character to get fucked by undead dogs and zombies but FWIW you can make enemies transparent so I was at least able to stay interested in the H-content present. It's just limited. Your character doesn't really change or adjust based on the situation, enemies don't really ramp up or change in lewdness, it just feels like a chore through and through.

The H-content and design of the character is decent. I like the idea of insemination giving small stat bonuses but the battlefuck is so underwhelming that it doesn't really serve to, finish, if you catch my drift, so it's mostly wasted. A little bit of animation pushes the presentation and to some level the battlefuck mechanics are passable, but nothing really stands out from the mediocre-to-bad options across F95.

Conclusion
While Tunnel Escape is clearly made with more quality control than many other sloppy games with similar tags (which deserves praise!), it still falls rather short in active player engagement and enjoyment. I would rate it a high 2/5 -- probably worth a download, but seriously lacking in many aspects and should be lower on your list. You may like it much more than I did.

Honest Thoughts: Original but Flawed
I’ll be honest—I’m conflicted about this game. It’s definitely original compared to most titles on this page, and depending on the difficulty you choose, it forces you into resource management. It’s a roguelite that requires multiple gathering runs just to progress, which can be engaging. But it also has its downsides.
The game presents itself as a classic Resident Evil wannabe, mimicking the aesthetics and scenarios of those titles. You’re given limited resources, which would normally encourage players to avoid conflict. But in this game, that option doesn’t exist. Each run is a sequence of unavoidable events that drain your resources like a sponge. What happens to you often feels like a dice roll.
As an eroge, it’s also problematic. Most of the H-content only appears if you intentionally play poorly. There’s a training room where you can trigger these scenes without consequences, but it doesn’t work as a proper gallery. You have to go through several steps—set up a scenario, spawn a specific enemy, and lose to it—to access the content. Even then, not all scenes are available.
In summary, the game is original, but far from perfect. And as an eroge, it fails due to how inaccessible its adult content is.

Very unique, honestly! Wish there are more games like this. I like the gameplay and I like the hentai scenes. While you can avoid losing your virginity, I would advice you not do so. The games lets you have a SFW adventure with not much effort. When you actually test letting the monsters get you, it unlocks cool abilities that make it profitable do it more often. And doing it more often allows you better opportunities to lose control, which makes it more fun!

I'm sure this game has more to offer than what I got out of it. I'm sure there's some interesting impregnation stuff down the road. But after about an hour of fighting mobs in long and tedious battles, being tied down again and again, having to break out and slowly chip away at groups of enemies, I stopped playing. It's far too slow for what progress you make.

A roguelite Resident-Evil like game, with a good number of enemy types and goodcombat mechanics. The enemies vary with the levels, each with their own theme and boss.

Items matter in this game, you must choose which upgrades to get carefully.... or not and just grind the lower levels enough to get all of them. You get skills by either finding lootboxes or fucking enemies.

Story is not that engaging, and honestly there just as a background. The combat also gets annoyingly repetitive as you progress to the later stages of the game.

Turn-based games like these give you feeling that every choice matters. In this one specifically you might even question every item you use, since It might be important later on. I also love the fact that they made it roguelike, although you might not need it if you don't die.

If you like turn-based games, then this is something for you.

I would give it 2,5 out of 5.

Tunnel Escape is a rather short looter-shooter-Resident-Evil themed game.
It's a wonder capcom didn't ban it for copyrights stealing.

Gameplay? Tedious.
Especially the 20 rooms for every exploration and hordes of enemies at every turn.
It is really not something you would want to see.

And the further you go, the more apparent it becomes, that they didn't test this game. At all.
(Or did it, but with severe cheats)

At level 1 you have 1000 health and 100 mana.
At level 50 you have 1500 health and 130 mana.
For every boss and exploration I was using my whole inventory of items (Ammo, grenades, consumables), and was only able to come out on top due to my wits and luck, in equal proportions.

What's the issue you ask?
I was playing on Easy.
On Hard I was suffering through the 2nd floor by the time I completed the game on Easy.
And due to the local system of skills (random loot from any encounter, in random order), I would have had absolutely no chance at completing levels from 3 to 6.
At all.
Compare to easy, you will get double damage to your heals, and deal 10% less damage.

But why would someone want to rant so much about battle system in a porn game, you may ask?

It all should have been circumvented with the Adrenaline (Arousal mechanic), where you receive bonus damage the higher your arousal is.

The problem is, it can only be increase in decent quantities through sex, and sex increases your Infection point, which is a shorter way to game over.

And sex in this game come only in the form of various zombies (fatmen, dogs, plants, deformed masses, robotic drones and living armor, etc.), which all, without fail, look rather disgusting.

But that is not the only issue.
This arousal bar drops far too fast, and the Stimulant, that should have increased it, doesn't keep up with the decrease rate.

You want some more?
Listen here, then:
Increasing the Arousal lowers your chances of breaking free from the Zombies' advances.
And having sex with them gives your various double-edged buffs. That can be stacked unlimited amount of times.

Essentially, if a 1st level dog fucks you 20 times, your Maximus health point would drop to 0 and you won't be even able to tank the initial sex advances, which also inflict damage.

The only way to shake off those "buffs" is to craft a potion, the recipe for which will be available in the store for 10k gold, after you beat the 3rd boss.

On average, you earn 0 gold per completed run.

Yes. Everything you will earn will have to be spent on ammo and consumables, so that you won't instantly die on the next run.

Do I need to say, that this system sucks? I hope, no.

Why would you give it any stars then?

Simple. the main heroine looks sexy.
Sound effects are not horrible.
Sex scenes, although simple, can still brighten a very lonely evening.
And the turn based system is the best I've seen in RPGM games.
(Sadly, only the hand-gun can interrupt the enemies, with it's normal attacks, and there are no sure ways to increase your agility to designed levels)

To sum this wall of text up, do not waste your time.
But it could have been much better, if the game wasn't tested with cheats.

Probably one of the better 18+ games, maybe cause it actually can be called a game. Mostly cause unlike WolfRPG and RPGMaker games of this kind where battles are just spam attack for easy win, and you would actually need to try hard to lose, in this game the challenge is there. Its not really a hardcore difficult roguelike game, but its enough challenging where you cant just spam attack and not think what you are doing.

The roguelike loop is also there and is quite decent. The only thing that could be done better is the story, most of the time the story is just there to give you some reason for progressing further without it feeling empty and pointless, but other than that its nothing worth talking about and if you want a zombie apocalypse horror hentai game, than i do recommend I walk among zombies and Seed of the Dead 1. Otherwise its still a game worth recommending for being a good roguelike hentai game of course if you can look past the lack of any interesting story.

Relatively speaking, this is a very well made game. I really like the MC design and (though minimal) her voice/sounds (I love the excited sound she makes when the cat gives her a gift).
I've only played a few games where if the heroine gets "corrupted" she has a whole new set of skills/attacks to turn to. This is one of them, and it was a lot of fun to use the sexual powers to succeed. It is 99% combat/looting and 1% story.
I feel like the number one difficulty for me was maintaining the amount of ammo I needed for a run, but eventually it worked itself out.

"Really cool dungeon crawler, there wasn't a lot that "WOWED" me but for the content within this meets a pretty good bar for me.

- Gameplay
It reminds me of the old school dungeon crawlers like Daggerfall. Each run through of an area is more or less random, some events reoccur but in different sections of the dungeon. It's turn based but the action bar typically determines who gets that turn. Several types of weapons and ammo to help with planning and traversing more difficult areas. RPG elements of a perk system and ability bonuses, even when screwing enemies you get a buff from a creampie with side effects of course.

- Storyline
Female protag trapped in a zombie city. She must traverse the different areas in search of key items and supplies to get the vaccine to someone who can synthesize it.

- Artwork
Decent all around, even the enemies get some good work done on them as well. It's static images getting rumbled or moved around but it does it pretty well when the focus is more the combat and so on.

- Overall
Pretty good, worth a shot imo. Would like to see the battle simulator have more gallery like options rather than having to fight again as it just gets tedious when you're character's actions get faster and faster than enemies. Feel like the h scene bar that replaces the dungeon progression bar should be in every scene rather than the simulator. Only other gripe is I would have liked to see the protag have other clothing options/ battle damage."

This game is incredibly rewarding. All the sex scenes are well animated and voiced, but the game itself is the real deal. There's a strong rule of cool in how Beatrice wields her guns and the metal music with every new level and skill. The enemies find new ways to raise the stakes - simple zombies they are not. And the constant decision-making I am doing is a huge testament to how finely tuned all the stats and weapons and mechanics are. Can you balance your opponents' turns such that you can take them out with just kicks? How can you get enough agility to set up the grenade launcher? The shotgun's skills could punish an enemy's weakness, but do you have enough ammo to clear the dungeon with? This all shows off in the postgame, which puts you to the fullest test.

The writing has cool ideas but the dialogue could be better, is my one critique.

Full 5 stars, after 40 hours of playtime. Give it a go. Give it a buy, even. I look forward to this dev's future work.

Fairly good game, if you like turn-based H-style combat this is for you. Not too long of a run, between 2-4.5 hrs depending upon how you play. You also recieve different buffs/debuffs based on the H-events you participate in.

Overall, the game is a lot of fun — I really enjoyed it.
There are so many skills that even though my character is level 300, I still haven't unlocked all of them. I've spent 24 hours in-game, completed the whole storyline, but unfortunately I can't meet the Mysterious Merchant in the control room after the story ends. Only Nemi remains with us... and I really liked his music.

At least you can still meet him in the Endless Nightmare mode — even just for 5 minutes to hear his “Welcome…” (reminds me of Resident Evil 3). There are a few small crafting issues, but they don't affect my overall positive impression.

I'm seriously considering buying the game on Steam — I wonder if I can transfer my save file there?

I definitely recommend this game. It's exciting, with tons of enemies to fight. Feels like the AI adds a new skill every minute!

Oh, and one more thing: if I get the chance, I'll try to upload a comment with my save file — I've collected a lot of in-game money. I've always protected my character and never let anything bad happen to her, so it would be a great honor to see her story continue.

High quality "rouge lite" game with a broad range of fetishes that ticks most of my boxes. I would give it a 5, but:

• Pregnancy is underdeveloped
• Clowns and freaky horror movie style psychotic breaks don't belong in porn games
• You can't save scum while exploring areas

I don't mind the grind though, and I'm glad you can toggle animation speed with "shift".

Solid and unique game for H standards with few issues that make it 4/5 game instead of higher.

First of all there is a lot of H animations that you cannot skip or make faster, and they are very slow (for example commander kissing scene takes like 30 seconds for no reason). This makes game tedious as its intended to farm monsters and do levels few times in a row (especially on hard difficulty). Honestly i have no words why would dev not fix this, not like its hard to do and it seems very obvious you sometimes want to focus on gameplay and not see same sex scene for 20 times that you cannot speed up. Especially when some animations/h scenes/combat mechanics you can fast foward with pressed Z.

Besides that game has some balance issues on hard difficulty, but its beatable, you just need to grind a lot. I liked most of H scenes, variety of monsters is a bit weird, from zombies to clown and mechs or armored knights, but thats classic for japan games. OST music is weird also but its definitely something, i liked it in some way. I also never understood sex talents, there is A LOT of them but they barely have any combat value, simply put there was some good idea but it failed.

Overall with a bit more love it would be much better, dev instead is making another game, with what seems almost everything will be the same as this one, just new MC and monsters. Lets hope issues will be fixed there.

Good game. A bit clunky towards the end but still good. Animations are pretty good. Fetishes are diverse. Combat is fun. If i want to go to detail here it is.

I love the combat where i have to attack the enemies on the redzone to basicaly stun them for a second. I dont like the fact it only happens on pistols. the bullets are scarce so you have to change weapons. but i hate that some enemies have resistance to some guns because it is bullshit. the bullet already scarce and i dont like wasting bullets on stupid things. bossess apart from the first chapter are bullet sponge. the last boss is bullshit! I had to use the cheat engine to finish the game cause i didnt wanted to grind till max level. 3/5

The second segment of the game is the exploration. it is full rng. no shortcuts. takes huge time when you die at the boss or lose to some rng bs. There are no other routes except rng side rooms that apear. side rooms may contain an event like dying oldman wants to lick. plant that wants water and either attacks or gives apple. it is lackluster. i wish there were shortcuts to rush at the boss.

Lewd skills: it feels good to unlock a skill that has lewd implications. it does change the game if you want to play a lewd character that attacks with lewd skills. but high cooldown makes it impossable to base on it. as an example; the punch skill which lets you damage without freeing you from restraint has a 5 turn cd and hits awful. for context enemies relase you in 3 turns. i wish we could upgrade cd and damage.

If you read this review till this point you might realize this is a basic mid rpgm game. so keep that in mind as i say animation on this game FUCKS HARD! the animations are creative. if ou are into monsterous beings it is great. i especially loved hypnotizing teddy bears. But it is quality over so few quantity. I must say there are not enough. but it is good! one animation for each enemy makes it repeat a bit. there are 5 zones if i remember correctly, 3 uniqe enemy and a boss makes it about 20 animations. If the game wasnt this grindy i wouldnt skip any animation.

Great experience, liked it a lot.

+ Great interface for an RPGmaker game. Thing that gives out the engine is probably just rare default RPGmaker sounds.
+ Interesting battlefuck. Maximizing MC's damage requires to get raped and edge her as close to orgasm as possible. Creampies give unique lasting bonuses depending on the enemy.
+ Combat is fun, even though it's repetitive. There's often new skills to unlock and new builds to figure out by stacking creampie bonuses.

- Combat sprites are poor. Enemies are drawn pretty poorly, elite variants are just recolours. It is better in battlefuck scenes, but why not make better combat sprites as well then?
- MC sprite barely changes. No torn clothes, no different costumes, only little pose and face changes based on arousal and after-sex. If you play virgin run it almost won't change at all.
- A little long and grindy game if you play at Hard.
- Some systems seem unfinished. Like, there's crafting but very little amount of recepies, there's limited consumables but they are way too easy to manage and drop often, etc.
- For some reason there's upbeat rap music as bossbattles themes. I reached the boss of second chapter for the first time being low on ammo and resources and MC got repeatedly fucked by the boss, all while Eminem-like rap was blasting in my headphones.

# Resolution stretching done bad. Disable it in settings.
# On normal difficulty it's easy to beat the game without MC ever getting fucked at all. On hard, you'll definitely struggle in the beginning without damage bonus you get from rape. Hard difficulty is more grindy though. I recommend Hard.
# Gallery is in Combat Simulation room.

Most RPGM games look during half of their play-time like some old genre console stuff from early 90'... Of course it's not that bad if game is overall good but there are some titles that offer much better visual experience. And this is one of those. No pixel art and simplified miniatures here.

So we have some girl who tries to stop some mysterious virus that turns living creatures into hordes of horny tentacled undead thingies. And because she's hot and runs around in outfit barely covering her plump tits and ass, she has lots of shooting and fucking stored for her.

PROS:
+ Well made turn-based combat game, with many skills to unlock and possibility of creating unique build by gathering permanent buffs/debuffs.
+ H-scenes and sexual actions mixed with fighting skills - one affecting others and vice versa.
+ Very hot heroine with very sexy and lewd poses during different uncensored sexual encounters (nothing like mixing wild banging with shooting grenade launcher, right? Heheheh).
+ Good quality of drawn sprites and animations.
+ Some story. Nothing breathtaking but interesting enough to play.
+ Good audio - music, sounds, monans.... You name it.

CONS:
- No gallery mode with option to re-watch sexual encounters without whole fighting thingy and sometimes repeating levels.
- There could be much more sexy encounters outside combat, and more possible poses during combat.
- Very grindy and long if you aim to get everything possible (not needed for completing the game) and it might get boring at this point.

Overall it's nicely made and detailed game. If you like turn based fighting games, this should be for you. If you like shooting zombies and other stuff taken from Resident Evil / Silent Hill, this should be for you. If you like rape-fighting games with heroine always returning to fight-back no matter how much cum is pumped into her, this should be for you.

A game without gameover sex.

The game progression and game mechanic are fun to play.
the difficulty is medium/hard depending of if you have a least a few patience (very few, you level up easily) to grind and if you are not dumb (doing nosense in perks).
So a good game, enjoy!

More games need to have action bars like this. It makes the usual turn based rpgs more exciting

The combat and item management is pretty satisfying too. My only gripe here is that there are certain scenes that need a gallery and are missing from the battle simulator since they aren't battle scenes like the masturbation
