Turning of a "light" that isn't actually a light?

I've been trying to figure out how to render a low light scene that includes some objects that emit light from within Daz but don't appear to actually be classified as lights for configuration purposes. In the scene below I want the table lamp and the string of lights on the wall highlighted in red to still be there, I just want them turned off so they aren't light sources. I didn't bother to let it finish rendering since the lights are all wrong.

Am I missing something obvious? Neither of those objects has any sort of setting I can find for light like you would find if you created a spotlight or a pointlight or something. I want all of the light to come from the window and the open door behind the camera.

You need to go into their surface tab.
There you should find their emission settings and control everything about their lighting.

Hope it works out.
